You know when a book series that was the staple of your childhood because it showed canon queer characters when you had no exposure prior as well as being one of the reason you fell in love with reading (especially the historical fiction genre). As for Mmh, I’m enjoying the absolute run but it’s a little freaky if you aren’t used to j’onn. The recent JL unlimited run has a bit of spotlight on j’onn in a few issue. The Mmh run by Steve Orlando is a good read too. He’s especially funny (and done with the team) in JL international. And one little throwaway but the the dc spring breakout special he does community theatre.

Besides red, is there any other color that can represent Ares?
Well still a red but the shade maroon as its like dried blood.
Pink could also have a strong association with him, they’re wasn’t a binary on who wore pink like nowadays but symbolically I can see it due to its connections with love and passion.
Most metallic colours but mostly bronze or gold to be associated with the armor and weapons of ares.
Purple would also be a good contender as it’s usually it’s a signifier of a higher status/royalty and ares is technically a prince but you know he’s also a god.
If you take a more modern war interpretation, shades of green and brown are more common to see associated.

Dr. Stone & their flowers
I don't usually give a rant about merch but need to spread what might possibly be the best and most thought through merch of any anime, any media, ever.
And that is the Dr. Stone botania series.
What makes this merch so amazing is that whoever chose the flower for each character. did. not. miss. it’s impressive and frankly filled with way more effort than they were likely payed for. This is assuming that anyone actually put thought into the flower meanings. But once you see their meanings it’s hard not to think some genuine intention was put into this.
(Also the flowers weren’t listed so I made some guesses on what they were so if you think it’s something else, please let me know)
Sometimes I see fanart of Jayce and think it’s Odysseus, then when I see Odysseus fanart I think it’s Jesus, but I never think Jesus fanart is Jayce.
