Imagine if Darius ended up running away from a the camp, terrified of what he has become

Maybe he accidentally hurt someone, like his instincts taking the better of him and attacking a camp member

Also, imagine if he found Ben during this, and Ben helps Darius with this, and helps him learn to deal with his instincts better

Like instead of fighting them he learns to work with it (think of Eda from The Owl House and her curse)

A fanfic theory

Anyway my guess is Mr. Asshole Kon is involved cause how else would Kenji have gotten into this mess? Anyway since they want to have control over dinosaurs, or just want bio weapons, they want something that can comprehend and then execute orders, so they decided to make the hybrids. Anyway it probably started out with the herbies, before eventually Brook, than Yaz, and finally Darius.

I say this due to the fact that they would probably want them to be able to work together, hence the raptor, and made Darius hybrid squared because he was able to beat the game, showing he is capable of solving complex problems and can survive. They made Yaz a raptor for similar reasons but physical instead of intelligence.

I also imagine they look more and more dinosaur esc the farther down the line you go, with Darius the most dinosaur out of all of them.

I imagine that, like a theropod, he has a leaned over posture due to the shifted center of balance with his tail. He has become the tallest just no one can tell with his gamer posture.

And yeah for sure! I don't want to confirm or deny anything, but I've always imagined that Daniel Kon is involved in some way with the project, especially since Kenji seems to be the hybrid with the least amount of issues...

As for the progression of the development of the hybrids, you're definitely on to something! There's certainly more than meets the eye with what's happening to the kids... maybe we haven't seen the full extent of it yet either!!
