Summary: It’s the summer before university and Caitlin finds herself - reluctantly, by the will of her mother - spending it being a camp counselor. She’s practically counting down the days until she gets to leave. That is until she meets someone.
When we were kids, I loved you before I even knew what the word “love” meant. And then my mom died, and I had to go live with the girl that I had a crush on. Look, I there were so many times that I wanted to tell you Junior prom, when I went away to college, when I came back from college, nights that we stayed up talking, all the birthdays, all the Christmases, but I—I never did. I just—I kept it in.

Barry Allen being completely in love with Iris West: {1x01}
Alone In My Thoughts

Caitlin remembers how afraid she was the first time she heard a voice in her thoughts that wasn’t her own. First saw her hair streak with white and panicked to cut it out. She remembers - and regrets - all the time she wasted being afraid of the person who has become her sister. The person who showed Caitlin she wasn’t alone anymore. Would never be alone again.
Except she is alone again. Caitlin had tried to be happy for Frost when they miraculously split into two whole, healthy, and nearly identical bodies. But part of her had dreaded being alone with her thoughts again. But at least they were still together. And Caitlin could finally give Frost the hugs she so richly deserved.
But now they don’t even have that.

now, ever since you came into my life, I’ve been more than just the fastest man alive. I’ve been the luckiest […] and even though we’re husband and wife, you never really got the wedding you deserved. these past few days, when it looked like I might never see you again, I swore if I ever did, I would make it up to you. so… iris west-allen… will you renew your vows and remarry me?
I have been stuck here, marooned here in this place for fifteen long years, and The Flash, and The Flash’s speed, is the key to my returning to my world, to my time, and no one is going to prevent that from happening.

We’re probably just as surprised as Cisco to see Barry and Caitlin working on a case together alone….. cos it’s been such a long time since we’ve seen them working together alone like this in a while. xD
One of my favorite Snowbarry scenes <3
“Speaking of overloaded, he’s gonna be like that till tomorrow.” shots of Barry & Caitlin while watching over their hyperactively happy best friend Cisco

if The Flash were my son, I’d tell him a few things. First off, I’d tell him it’s a dangerous world so be careful. Then I’d tell him he’s a hero and he’s saving a lot of lives, but the most important thing for him to know, I feel, is that his father’s proud of him.
