Also: Him asking me for a painting of Benedict made me realise how old my drawings of him are. I've drawn 8 portraits of Benedict between 2011 and 2015 😱 how can BBC Sherlock be soooo old already?!?!

Sigh, this is another bittersweet ending to a series.
I agree with cutting Gaiman out and ending his IP. I can also be sad that everyone else involved is getting a bad deal.
I mostly am sad that this season didn't get the full breadth of episodes and ending it deserved.
I am happy that I got more out of the series than just the book. So, in the end I guess it's kind of like breaking even.
David and Michael are fantastic as Crowley and Aziraphale. The storytelling is amazing. The costumes and sets are spectacular. I don't expect anything less for this season.
Overall, it's a solid and amazing show that I am sad is ending on a bad note, but they have made the best of everything as they could.
I can respect and appreciate the effort they have put in for the sake of the fans.
Like with Sandman and the Dead Boy Detectives, I will say goodbye and think fondly of the cast, crew, and writers.

But yeah. It's like knowing you have to say goodbye to a very dear person. You visit them one last time. And then... but nobody can take the memories away 🥰😊

I always found this practice disgusting and breaching personal rights. But when the real people you're shipping are even calling out to you to stop it, that's the point you really need to realise that you are hurting them and continuing is just showing how little you actually care about the real person as a living, breathing human being with rights and emotions!

My current career leads me to interact with a lot of older and often more conservative people (rip me) and since it's Me, MASH will sometimes come up in conversation. I'm always shocked by how many of these people love MASH and seem to have fully missed its message like... Did you miss the episode about the gay soldier? Or the feminist themes behind Margaret (in later seasons)? I KNOW you had to see the anti war themes, right? RIGHT?
😂🤦🏼♀️ just like the doctor who fans who say it has gone woke... It has not! It was always about tolerance or even acceptance and appreciation of diversity. Also, there were characters that could have been LGBTQ even before the restart with the 9th Doctor in 2005
Regarding Comic Con Holland on May the 9th and 10th
Ok so very very sad news, both Catherine Tate AND David Tennant have now cancelled their Comic Con appearance in Holland (Tennant will not be there Saturday, Sunday is unclear), and even though I'm very sad about it, obviously, I am especially scared of what it means in terms of fan encounters at the con. Please, if you were planning to go and are now not sure, know that I will still be there on the 9th to talk Doctor Who shit with other fans and I hope I'll still, regardless, get to meet a lot of you and take pics in cosplay and have fun, cause personally it is a big part of why I decided to go in the first place.
Please please please don't despair, there is still fun to be had and I am set on having it, with or without Tatennant to entertain us!

yeah... well... great news for the weekend 😩
I was about to ask whether anyone wanted to meet up outside the venue... in the city for instance?!?... but right now I can't decide whether I will go to the con anyway or not and if I do whether I want to go in the cosplay...would still have to iron my skirt, as I've starched it a bit more than before the last 'test sessions'...
It's kind of shitty that they'd tell us only 3 days before the event to be honest...
Just know I'd be happy to see you and anyone else there regardless. I'll still don my Journey's End Donna cosplay, and my best friend will be in her series 1 Crowley outfit. I think we can still make this event memorable. I really do intend to have fun there despite everything.
So anyone who decides they're still going don't hesitate to hmu cause honestly it would be so much more fun if we do this together.

Yeah. Short notice so I couldn't cancel all the travel arrangements (~1000€...) and I can't change my days off work to September, where we've originally planned a UK roadtrip and could have made it to North Ireland Comic Con, which was only announced after I've already changed plans, took days off and booked for Holland exhausted
