I wish I were not human,

Then I wouldn't feel pain.

​I wish I were not human,

Then I wouldn't have aches.

Then I'd have no fatigue.

​No aging.

No want.

​No breathing.

No requirement.

​And no fancy ailment.

​For a productive life,

Shall I be a machine instead?

​Or something that humans have not discovered yet—

​Would I still call it a "life" better lived?

​In this vast universe, I take my place,

Bound to no fiction, requiring no grace.

I need not be perfect, unyielding, or steel—

The ink on my skin whispers: just be real.

​I can stumble and falter, misstep in the dark,

Yet bear no betrayal, nor leave a cruel mark.

For a mistake is a teacher, a human design,

Not an act of a traitor to what is divine.

​My loyalty lives where my heart claims its space,

Yet a quiet, firm "No" has its own rightful place.

I can stand by your side while I guard my own soul,

For boundaries are what keep a loyalty whole.

​Each moment I blossom, untamed and so slow,

Aligned with the timing the universe knows.

No rushing the seasons, no debt to repay—

Free from expectations, I walk my own way.

Bewitched!

First time with Water Colour Pencils

One day, a Mayfly told a Garden Tiger Moth that flew in towards the firelight.

"You know that the firelight is a trap set by humans. You are not someone who can only live for a day, like me. Why are you going to throw yourself into a fire eventhough you know you'll burn yourself to die?"

The Garden Tiger Moth said,

" That firelight is too beautiful not to dash into it. There is nothing beautiful in this world without pain."

Will there be a pit of fire waiting at the end of this path?
