hey yall its your trusty neighborhood mod @flygutzz :DDD no i am not late!!! Me, Nort, and a couple of our "Stars" wanna thank everyone for sticking with us for a whole year now! and to those who have just recently joined us, thank you also for joining us whenever you can!!!

I'm not as good with my words as Nort so along with their whole speech, all I can say is: DITTO!

All jokes aside, this is a love letter to all of you from your good ol' pal Nortsauce. We couldn't have made it this far without your support and love and creativity.

I think what happened sucks. I’m so sorry it all went down like this- the plush was ADORABLE and I WILL be customizing my walmartbendy plush-thing to look like him. Your design was perfect, and I wish he could be real.

I’d also like to say!! I think the people being loud and angry about it are being a little bit rude. You are creating a beautiful comic with incredible characters, a gorgeous story- and entirely for free. 90% of us viewers haven’t paid a dime, hassling you two for content, arguing for merch and over plotlines, and you put a bunch of planning and effort and tried to give us an INCREDIBLE plush, which is something people begged for!!! And it was amazing, you did your best, and while a few mistakes were made, you two are still very young. Countless other medias have used characters from established ips and sold merch, from Convention Booth trinkets to straight-up plushies and brands built on copyrighted characters, many of which I’ve seen on the channels you went through. Your position was extremely understandable. I’ve seen this happen a bunch of times and go every which way in the turnout. You cannot be blamed for this.

to be frank, I’d also like to say thank you. From the bottom of my heart, what you have done for this community, what you have created and given to us is something I treasure greatly. You two have given me a spark I lost years ago with games I used to love, brought new life to an old passion. Seeing your characters felt like meeting an old long time friend again, reading your comic was the most fun I’ve had consuming fan media in ages. I finally redownloaded the games, genuinely enjoyed them for the first time in years, because of you. I’ve made friends sharing art related to your creation that I never would have met otherwise, found a new spark in creation because of that as well. I’m making art I’m proud of in ways I never have been because of you two. I can never thank you or Fly enough for everything you have inadvertently done for me.

It was our mistake and we live and learn, but it sucks. I was so excited to bring you guys something, to thank you for the support you've given us

The comic will continue but i think we're gonna need some time. or specifically i'll need it.

I was mostly the one planning it so it was really heartwrenching to see it just fall apart like that, after so many people were so kind and supportive.

It's like watching my dream fall through but its entirely my own fault

I'm sorry i sound really edgey right now but people on twitter do have a point and they are protecting the copyright, and in a way they protected us.

Honestly I taught myself through observation of other artists I liked. I watched a lot of speedpaints as a kid and it really helped me find a style I liked.

I’m also using this as a chance to publish my collection of resources (for drawing, editing, studying, and other stuff) because gatekeeping is cringe and I think everyone should have access to these resources since they’re free.

I’ll keep it linked in my intro page for you guys but PLEASE SHARE THIS SO EVERYONE CAN KNOW ABOUT THESE TOOLS!!! THEY’RE GREAT!
