Beach Plan is officially a go, amigos. I got a house booked for 06/01, and admission is $50 for the week. Get me the money, and pick your room on the website. I’m thinkin’ we’re booking for 2 to a room, so pick your partner too, I guess. It’s buy-your-own food, but we’re gonna carpool, so it’ll save some money for everybody to pitch in for gas.

Gay or not, it was common knowledge that neither sharing, nor caring, were her thing, per se. Seething rage was more her style, and with it: jealousy. It was jealousy that had tiptoed from the flannel closet to pull Brittany up and away from the crowd. It was selfishness that had inspired her to stow her away in one of many bathrooms on the second floor. And it was her inner... Ellen Page? Kristen Stewart? that had led Santana to kiss her, immediately, once the door had been locked.  

The red hit Finn’s ears first. It wasn’t like anything that Santana said was that bad but her words struck a certain nerve in him that he had specifically been trying to avoid thinking about. The alcohol was a helpful buffer between them and Finn took the moment to pound the rest of his beer. For whatever reason, the gift he had gotten Santana was feeling extra heavy in his pocket right now.

“ Should I walk away before that pushing goes any further? ” Finn asked, only half joking. He had done a great job of avoiding Santana since their night together, specifically since he had gotten cold feet about flaunting their encounter. Maybe it was the alcohol that was turning him red and making him stupid free. “ I got you something. For your birthday. Is that weird? Or bad? ”

They had somehow managed to avoid discussing the revenge rendezvous since Santana had demanded compensation via double quarter pounder, but that had little to do with the amount that she had thought about it. Not in the hot, private way that was reserved for thoughts about Brittany (and, by association, Brittany’s legs) but instead in a way that went hand in hand with something akin to embarrassment, or shame. Typically, she didn’t like to dwell on it, had even been doing her best to ignore it, but here Finn was: just as hopelessly awkward as he had been day of. It was almost enough to give her war flashbacks. 

BRITT: I do like bowls.

BRITT: Sorry, uh. I'm not Sam or anything but.

BRITT: If they were my hands, they wouldn't want to leave even for the best burrito bowl in the world.

SAN: they could BE your hands tonight, you know

BRITT: Sam?

BITT: I think you misspelled your name, S.

SAN: i was talking trouty.

SAN: but that's not the point.

BRITT: Ghost peppers in a burrito bowl from Chipotle.

MARLEY: to find something i like to do at McKinley besides going to English class, plus Rachel said I was good

SAN: good for swaying in the background.

SAN: hey britt britt

MARLEY: Hey, I need your help

MARLEY: I've been going back and forth for the past few weeks it seems, but I think I need to make a decision soon

MARLEY: Glee club or no? I figured you'd give me an honest opinion about it

SAN: depends.

BREE: I already have it.

SNIX: Quick q.

RACHEL: Yourself, Brody and Jake could form a Club dedicated to conveniently ignoring questions.

[PAUSE]

RACHEL: Everybody hates me, Santana. And while my purpose is to become a star, I can’t help but worry that my fan-base will be virtually non-existent. Modern society demands a social media backing and I’m more than aware that my dazzling personality has done me zero favours in terms of popularity. But I need it, Santana; I need support and I need people to like me.

RACHEL: Therefore, I need your help. The only way I’m going to be able to have a stable career is if I’m likeable, and I can use High School as almost... rehearsal for the real world when I’m a star. You’re the most popular girl at this school; out of everybody, you are the best person I can go to with this.

RACHEL: I want to be liked. I’m willing to do whatever you like in return (naturally taking into account I am not happy to partake in violence towards animals).

SAN: for starters, we'd all probably like you a lot more if you talked a lot less.

SAN: but so long as your chest's flat, and that "dazzling" personality's intact and dressed in carousel sweaters, i can't make anyone do anything.

FINN: deal.

PUCK: Uma Thurman asked me if she had manhands n when I said yes, she broke up w/ finn bc of it

PUCK: now he’s mad cos he thinks I told her to break up w/ him???
