(re: linsky villain arc) it's so fucking disappointing! and to see this from such well-respected veteran is. ugh. needless to say i think i'm gonna go find another author to read after this. can't believe i ever wasted my kudos on that asshole. screw her and her fics.

I mean, I get the fanfic-to-published-author pipeline (plenty of writers have done it, albeit usually born from some YA fantasy and not rpf) but you would expect that they would take down their fics or at least distance themselves from them. The fact that she's doubling down on doing the opposite of that and using them to promote her book is so bleh. It's like she didn't just sell out, she sold all of the rest of us out too.
