Saw a headline in the newspapers earlier that was, “why are so many young women using disability aids?”
And the head-ass response seemed to be, “attention,” because that’s the kind of thing we can expect from British media at this point.
It’s not like the entire world just went through a mass disabling event or anything. It’s not like more and more women are finally getting diagnosed with chronic, lifelong illnesses and dynamic disabilities due to advocacy and raised awareness by the people who were left to suffer before them for decades.
No, no. Young lassies just want “attention.”
Fucking ghouls. A plague on your house and yours specifically. The rest of us have suffered enough.
Natalia Motuzko - The Voice of Grass (1992)
sometimes you invent mind prisons for yourself for no good reason and youre like "i really like being in the mind prison" even though you dont actually like being in the mind prison
the goal is to always have days so good that you forget you have a phone
I know this sounds like the deranged ramblings of a senile old man but I swear it used to be possible to look up information on the internet

there’s something so fucking magical about bookstores and libraries
Iron Man (2008) // Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026)
peter parker broke, miserable, DEVELOPING ORGANIC WEBS, bombarded with eviction notices, ned has more confidence but doesn't remember he had a childhood friend, mj is now the popular girl in university but don't remember the love of her life, i'M MISERABLE, WELCOME HOME SPIDERMAN
One thing I love about Brand New Day is that Peter really does feel older. He's not a teenager anymore, he's an adult and an adult who has had to be entirely self-sufficient. And you feel that in the way he carries himself and the way he interacts with other characters, especially the detective and Frank.
yeah yeah spiderman movie or whatever...
girl I was watching Frank the ENTIRE time

thinking about frank constantly calling peter “kid” and allowing peter into his home despite being someone who does things on his own. thinking about frank feeling protective enough over peter to go and risk his life to have his back. thinking about the horror on frank’s face when he realized he shot peter. peter who is someone’s son. peter who has saved his ass. peter who was brave enough to jump in front of that bullet. peter who is around the age of his kids if they were still alive. thinking about the fact that frank was reliving his worst day through that moment, where he once again saw himself as the villain.
the peter & frank duo was one of the best parts of the movie i'm crying i love them they're so stupid
