I know we keep saying "this doesn't change Midnights" but actually over the last month it's been settling in for me that Midnights very much feels like an album written by someone processing the end of a relationship - revisiting old pain, revisiting deep love, reflecting on a lonely future... I don't know. I think this breakup was a very slow burn and you can hear that on Midnights.

ik we all want to support her to the max during tour going ahead but i am begging can we PLEASE not read into things too much like dissecting surprise song choices etc. the mission statement for eras tour was for her to celebrate her whole discography and that has not changed, we don't need to be linking every song she plays to whatever her current situation might be. just focus on her, the show, her connection with the fans because it's clear that's what she wants the focus to be on instead of trying to peel back the details of her personal life and emotional state beyond what she openly chooses to shares with us
