I had an AP lit class in which I got all A's because any time I didn't want to do the homework I just
A: cried and told the teacher I got too caught up writing poetry, or
B: recited The Jabberwocky in front of the class.
A couple of years later, during my incredibly 20somthingyearold alcoholic years, I would use "The Jabberwocky Test" to see if I was in a blackout
Now I can recite The Jabberwocky sober or blackout so it doesn't help at all. I just love that poem a lot. I even know what a Tove is and that slythy is an adjective.
She's like escargot, she's crazy slow.
