It’s a lot funnier if Michael Misa had in fact fairly decent gentle relaxed Ontarian typical parents and wants to get his teeth deeply in Sam’s big shoulders not due to underlying trauma but simply because. He wants. He looks at his big lanky undertrained understimulated husky and is like, is anyone going to be bonding with that fucked up mildly self loathing performing animal in ways they shouldn’t? And of course doesn’t wait for an answer. To ME the most compelling Misa is loving and thoughtful and a little bit obviously content to curl up and be cosseted by his husky and his (billet) parents and get to bring his guys(brother included) to Vancouver for training and—

When Will bakes and they try to eat more than 1/3 of it, he will bare his teeth and snarls cause 2/3 of it is obviously his. When they visit willmack's mansion and ask why they sleep in a room and will just shrugs and say "Oh, we need to give a room to Laila. " as if it answers anything when the house has 4-5 rooms.

They are all enrolled to the book club because it is mandated. "To prove hockey players are smart." Mack has said before proceeding to pull Will onto his lap and watch him read. "Save paper, save trees, one book for us."

One day during dinner, Laila asked when is their anniversary and they blinked stupidly at her. "Friends have anniversary?" She came to the realization that her landlords are both dumb enough that they believe they were fucking no-homo way, which is somehow still somewhat better than samisa who keeps saying 'thats so bro' after each kiss.

He wants to know how his partner is feeling during sex and he needs to hear it.

In the beginning of their fucking your best friend cannot possibly be considered gay phase, Sam would always ask Misa if what they were doing was fine and if it was okay for him to touch Misa before he did it. He would tell Misa to be vocal about what he did and didn't enjoy. Whenever they tried something new for the first time, Sam would make sure himself and Misa were on the same page at all times.

Now that they've figured themselves out and have been dating for real for months, Sam still asks the same questions, is this okay? we can stop whenever you like, because it didn't just become less important to him. He wants Misa to know that he can tell him if anything is wrong and that he wouldn't be mad about it.

Sure, Sam can be a bit emotionally stupid and immature sometimes, but he knows that just because something was okay once doesn't mean that it's okay all the time, so he wants them to communicate properly like the- adults? that they are.

At first Misa was like, we literally did the exact same thing this morning and I told you that I liked it before, during and after. Do you have amnesia? A concussion? Did you hit your head during practice?

But soon he learned that this is part of physical intimacy with Sam, and Misa absolutely loves the attentive looks Sam throws his way, looking into his eyes as he catalogues his reactions and waits for an answer. It makes Misa feel special, taken care of, loved.

Of course by now Sam has learned how to read Misa's reactions: when he gets lost in pleasure he can get quiet, throwing his head back, clenching his eyes shut with his mouth hanging open in silent moans; and when he doesn't like something he'll tell Sam immediately (promise you'll tell me if you want to stop, okay? – I promise, Sam.)

So, Sam will look down at Misa and subconsciously he knows that Misa is enjoying himself by the expression on his face alone, he can literally feel the way Misa's body is reacting to his own, but that won't stop him from asking, yeah, you like that, baby? tell me, Mis

And Misa does, he nods his head frantically, tightens his legs around Sam's waist, and in that breathy little voice he says, yeah, I love it, Sam, oh my god

And just like that, the whole ordeal becomes extraordinarily, impossibly better, because Sam is feeling good and Misa is feeling good and it‘s Sam that is making him feel like that to the point of near incoherence.
