I’ve taken a very long leave of absence while working on my mental health. I’m still not in a good place mentally but I’m getting better.
My mental health has never been great and I’ve never stopped to focus on it, so the fact that I’m taking the time to even acknowledge it is a big step for me. If working on my mental health means giving up certain things for a while then that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.
The whole point of this blog was to put a smile on the faces of people- total strangers- during the end stages of the pandemic. I can’t continue to do that if I myself am not OK.
I hope to restart the blog on the first day of the new school year (for me it’s September 7th) No promises, but I should be starting up again soon.

I’ve evolved from being mentally ill to mentally ill AND physically ill!
I’m still sick (not COVID, but a really bad, lingering case of pneumonia) and I’ll try to keep up the posting seeing as I’m feeling slightly better, but with back to school coming up and the fact that I’m moving(!!!), I’m getting really stressed out.
That said, here’s today’s thingy.

SORRY I’VE NOT BEEN ACTIVE, I’VE BEEN HAVING A MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS.
That said, please remember to take care of yourself. I took a step back because I was very stressed about life in general and this is one thing I could control. I know I shouldn’t apologize, but my brain says I must apologize for any minor inconvenience I may have caused.
Anyway; I don’t have the energy to do the special days for the past 10 days I’ve missed, so I’ll just do today instead.
