ADHD experience: know the phrase “rightie tightie lefty loosey.” But in practicality, have no idea which way is which. It’s especially hard when you’re left handed cuz it feels like that direction should be the default. Is clockwise going left or right? Cuz it depends on where in the inclement you start from. Also, what if this 100+ year old curtain rod predates the standardized rightie tightie? I hate this.
—update— the curtain rod I needed to unscrew was in fact counter clockwise. Also needed some oil and a grippy thing, but I got it!
