Little quickie design for a friend’s tattoo

Photoshop.  A lot of pieces are half traditional (the inks on everything but the latest pieces are sumi and marker), but I'm slowly transitioning all my tools to digital equivalents.

Here's my collection for Light Grey Art Lab's Omnibus Treasury Show (which opened last night and runs through July 3rd).  There's a lot of other great collections as well, by a bunch of very talented artists, so be sure to take a look!

Preview for my piece for LGAL's upcoming Omnibus Treasury show, combining the two biggest things in my artistic life: illustration and jewelry. I know I pretty much never (except that one time) post any of my day job stuff here, but since I actually work on designing and modeling (sculpting) jewelry about 8 hours a day, and pretty much have to think in a considerably limited palette of shapes and colors, it was very refreshing to work on a piece that involved illustration as the finished product.  Be sure to check out the other (awesome) artists participating as well.

My day job I never mention is making 3d models for a custom jewelry shop and a couple weeks ago someone ordered a custom Triforce ring :D (This is the finished piece from my model) I got really excited and wanted to share it.
