There's a common claim that Timmy's contact with fairies is solely the result of misery and youth. However, here's why I think not. It's too vague and a fabrication by the councils and higher-ups to cover their tracks.
There's one hole in this: It's NEVER specified what exact age the child loses the fairies, not even in Channael Chasers.
Episodes have shown that Jorgen can always literally mind-wipe people, so maintaining a secret isn't a challenge but a test. It's actually a selective proficiency with Timmy (and other candidates).
It parallels Danny Phantom: if anyone other than Danny went into the portal, they would not survive. That was quietly confirmed.Â
Further evidence is in Remy Rides Again. Remy's revenge was to make things peaceful for Timmy so Cosmo and Wanda could leave. However, it was all revealed to be Jorgen's convoluted plan to send Juandissimo to Earth. He actually returns the fairy to Remy as more punishment than reward, not simple misery.Â
There's also the idea that one may still maintain memories if one thinks hard enough. Mr. Crocker leans towards that. It might be an error, but Sparky can actually help link things. As a fairy dog, rules may be different for him, as he had multiple owners. Reminder: due to the soft reboot, Mr. Crocker's orgins a little diffrenet. That
