So, there's the whole Kesha vs Taylor post going around. The one where "I would rather be like Kesha, with compassion versus being spiteful like Taylor." Everyone is entitled to opinions, so I'm gonna throw mine out there and say I hate this post. I hate it. You look in the comments of the original post and see where people are putting the two against each other. And that sucks. Because, Taylor donated money to Kesha during her whole trial of sexual harassment and abuse; and Kesha was one of the ONLY FEW who supported Taylor during her sexual assault case. The women were there for each other to show love and support. Like. Awesome. I get the original intent of the post, I do. And honestly? Every one is entitled to react how they want in a situation that is DIRECTLY about them. Sometimes, it's graceful. Sometimes, it's just not. And that's okay. I mean, the same people who are disgruntled by her recent song are the same people who made light of Britney shaving her head in 2007--and shared memes that they were "this close to going 2007 Britney." ...I hesitated to write this, because it's a soap box and people roll their eyes at it. But, I just wanted to speak on the opposition part of it.
