Kate and Anthony’s journey from Sir and Miss to Viscount and Viscountess Bridgerton.

In a city, like the pic above, they represent rebellion, and efficiency. The messiness of humanity. We like to imagine we're oh so logical and neat so we design our cities to be logical and neat an then real humans literally trample on that idea. The ego required to think you can design something perfect that checks every box. Life is all about compromise and patching stuff when some new problem arises. Though people have certainly tried! Ohio state univeristy let students carve their desire paths, and then paved them over. It looks pretty artsy.

Some people will try to discourage desire paths, but this is almost always going to fail.

Eventually, people just have to accept them. Humans are too dang stubborn.

Certain desire paths are just adorable. A 0.5 second time saver. You just can't design for maximum efficiency, humans will always find shortcuts!

Though on occasion a desire path can actually be the least efficient way...especially if you're superstitious.

In a wilder area, such as below, they show us the curiosity of humans. A desire path somewhere natural often tells you there's something interesting just ahead. (Though remember some ecosystems are fragile and will suffer if trampled! Stick to paths in these sorts of areas)

And how about desire stairs? I always think these look so cool. We get see humans determination to climb, to traverse every kind of terrain.

And for something really crazy...a desire path used for centuries will create a 'holloway'

She’s technically a monster too. She might not look it at first glance and seems mostly human, but it isn’t deniable even despite her looks compared to the other monsters. 

But she realizes that she is still not like the rest of the monsters either and may not have entirely the same experiences as them, which is why she feels that she might not belong to or deserve to go to the support group. By sometimes passing as human, she feels she isn’t worthy of the space. 

The sad reality though is even though she’s mostly human in appearance, that tail she has undeniably would still cause her some struggle. Humans are still gonna look at that tail and think she’s a freak. There are probably still accommodations she needs because of the tail that she may still struggle to have access to. Even if it is just the tail, that tail is still enough to other her from humans and cause her problems and discrimination. 

She should get to belong in that support group even if she gets told she’s not monster “enough”. She still shares some of the same struggles as them that are caused by being a monster, and needs support.

Hotch : Gill

Leader. Large and in charge. No emotions. Vetoes crazy schemes then comes up with even crazier schemes.

Morgan : Bloat

At the first sign of danger he puffs himself up to look bigger. Clashes with Gill but defers to his judgement in a crisis.

JJ : Deb

Sweetheart. Looks out for Nemo like a mother. Talks to a sister that doesn’t exist.

Garcia : Peach

Pink. All-seeing, has the gossip from outside but misses a lot of the inner-tank banter. Sings to herself for fun.

Prentiss: Bubbles

Bit of a weirdo. Worries about things nobody else understands. Everyone is concerned but doesn’t know how to ask if she’s okay. Cool nose.

Rossi : Jacques

Looks after the younger ones but only after being told to. Funky accent. Has his own separate fancy house and gives no fucks. Great moustache.

Reid : Nemo

Baby. Has two motives for everything: 1) piss off real dad and 2) impress tank!dad. Endangers himself unnecessarily and against everyone’s advice. 

Strauss : Gurgle

Hates everything the rest of the tank decides to do. Questions Gill’s judgement daily. Would rather the rest of them got flushed down the toilet than touched her.

Bonus:

Gideon : P. Sherman

Brings all the tank gang together then leaves them to figure everything out and deal with his actions/consequences. Caterpillar eyebrows.

Cat Adams : Darla

Goldfish will grow to fit the size of their enclosure.

Yes, this is real. That dude’s name is Edward Nino Hernandez and the fish weighed almost as much as he did.

Imagine what an animal this size could do to a small lake.

Now realize that they can breed.
