john what is ur favourite bass?!?!?!
Well I’ve had so many basses over the years, it’s hard to choose just one. Here’s a few:
One of my favorite precision basses has to be this baby, made it with my own hands. I call it ‘Frankenstein’ since it’s made up of so many different parts from various basses. I had it refinished from sunburst to pink in the mid 70’s. Used on lots of your favorite records over the years.
Of course I’ve owned and played multiple Gibson Thunderbirds, can never go wrong with one of those.
I’ve had different versions made of my custom ‘axe bass’ design.
I’ve played a few Alembic bass models, I even smashed one on stage once.. destroyed a very expensive piece of wood, I don’t recommend it.
Another custom bass I had made was my ‘Boris the Spider’ bass, not sure how practical it is, but I love it regardless.
I could go on, but let’s end it here. I’ve already talked your ear off enough, people will start mistaking me for Pete if this continues.
