Well, well, well 🎄

JayP only chose that name to set himself away from what was real; the wholesome world he had grown up in with his neighbour best friend Jensen Ackles. For Jensen, who would always call JayP Jared, he'd survived a nightmarish childhood by forming a solid and deep friendship with the boy next door. Jared was joy and happiness and Jensen's saviour. Jensen was dependable, calm and always there. They were an undiscovered match made in heaven; even though they had to go through a little hell to eventually get there.

Jared Padalecki lives on a plot of land in the boondocks with his ever growing extended family; everyone is busy with their own lives and his parents barely acknowledge his existence. He knows there is more out there in the world but doesn't quite know how to find it. On the occasion of his cousin's gender reveal party on a sweltering June day; all the family, bar the elders, gather together to celebrate. The grill is fired up, the cooler is filled with beer and Jared discovers that sometimes you don't have to go out into the world because sometimes 'the world' will come and find you.

Jared Padalecki had been given everything he had ever wanted and quite often stuff he never really needed either. But, during his last summer before college, he had found himself with the greatest gift of all, complete and utter freedom. A whole summer to himself, to do with whatever he pleased. THE OASIS

Jensen Ackles had inherited ‘The Oasis’, a roadhouse in the middle of the Nevada desert. With a trailer to live in right next door, Jensen had made a home for himself and created a business giving respite to weary travelers. The Oasis was as welcoming as its owner who believed in kindness and generosity above everything else, sometimes forgetting to take care of his own personal happiness. When a dusty, tear-stained customer blew into The Oasis on a hot summer breeze, Jensen offered his usual brand of care and concern, not realizing that his gentle nature would be rewarded.
