I just wanted to pop in and say that I squeezed in a brief period of time this weekend to load up my game and play, and I had a classic sims 2 moment that I keep thinking about!

Just another life update just because the rerelease has me thinking of the sims and you all. How do we feel about the rerelease anyways? If they optimized the game and fixed pink soup would it be worth it? I am still a disc player over here anyways. 😅

Life has been beautiful lately. I had my second son, Andy, on October 13th. I walked around for a week 5cm dilated before he came. 😅 My water broke at 3am, we got to the hospital at 4:30am, and I had him an hour later. No epidural, which was definitely not planned and, as you can imagine, not fun. But I did it!! Pushing a baby out with no epidural was never on my bucket list but here we are.

Andy is the best baby! He is always so calm. He sleeps 5+ hour stretches at night. He burps like right away. He talks so much! It's amazing how different he is from his older brother.

Speaking of which, Arthur is 2 now! He is everything. He is so smart and loves doing things with his hands. He loves to run! He literally doesn't stop. He is so sweet with his little brother. He hugs him and says "I yuv you" and gives him kisses. It is the best and my heart is so full.

Having children makes me live fully in the present. Every day is a blessing, seeing them grow. It's definitely not easy but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Anyways, enough rambling. I wish I could play the game but seems impossible. Any free time I get I try to do self care or work on my casual reselling side hustle.

We made it to the third trimester with baby Andy! And I do not have gestational diabetes with this pregnancy like I did with my first boy. Yay!! I passed by a single point. It is definitely not easy chasing around a toddler while pregnant though. I've been doing well until my son hit a sleep regression about 2 weeks ago, it has been rough. 🥲

Hi! You may have seen my mod idea I posted a couple weeks ago about hobbies... basically I am starting to give my sims a hobby based on their true hobby (sports, nature, cuisine, etc). If their true hobby is fitness, then I will randomize a few different activities to make their favorite hobby. This, for me, adds more personality to the sim and also pushes me to use different objects and aspects of the game that I don't normally use. The mod idea was to have this hobby randomly generated using tokens like the favorite color and traits mod. Anyways! I am not 100% sure if it will be made - anyone can take this idea and run with it! I think some plans started which is super exciting! But I just wanted to share my list of hobbies so far that I like! These don't particularly have to increase their hobby enthusiasm in my opinion. Thanks to @grilledcheese-aspiration, @anachronisims, @cityof2morrow and others for ideas and taking interest! Hope something comes of it. :)
