Decorating experiments in Paralives! I've still only found time to play about 6 hours in the game, mainly building and decorating. Slowly getting familiar with it, and just having fun noodling around for the most part! I definitely need to put some more wall art options in the game though.

Taking screenshots is a learning curve... the camera angles and maneuvering, somehow having something blocking half the shot when I look at it after (that wasn't there when I took the photo) and not accidentally highlighting an item like I did with the bench in the front hall....

Playing around in Paralives! Self Para, and a WIP house build!

I just got a new PC last week - it is really nice to not have my OS running off an external SSD anymore :p

I'm hoping to be spending a little more time playing TS2, although life has continued to be busy! I have played recently, and finally finished decorating a house I'd been chipping away at for a while so I could play the household.

I've got plenty of backlogged screenshots to edit and post too... we're getting there! Also have many, many downloads to catch up on.

hi kayleigh! I was wondering if you'd be willing to fix the large black shadow for your 4t2 spice of life rack when you have time? Only indoors does it have this issue. Yours is the only version I have found that someone made recolors for, and I'd really like to use it. =( no worries if not. Thank you!

It doesn't have this for me, but it's possible I changed something at some point to fix it and don't remember? I've updated my download with the version I have in my game right now that I just confirmed has no shadow issues (it's merged though!).

I know this WCIF is absolutely ancient, but taking a peek in my downloads folder it looks like mine are mainly by @curiousb and you can find them in their folder here! Just search the page for Baltimore. :)

Hello - I was curious for the maxis match lighting mod, if your snow is a bright white? Everything else my game looks great besides this bright white snow during sunsets.

I gotta be honest I can't remember for sure lol! I've been playing very little the last four months or so, and it's not winter in my game right now. Either yes and I learned to overlook or ignore it, or no and it's because of some combination of my different shader and lighting mods. I remember having to really fiddle with them a lot to get everything looking right at some point, chucked em all in a folder and backed away slowly. And now on top of that, I'm rusty!

Sorry I couldn't help more! Maybe someone can help in the comments. :)

I do, these days I'm using one I created with LazyDuchess' lifespan mod builder but it seems to be offline. I used to use Simlogical's age group tweak which is basically the same I think, LD's builder just automated the process so you didn't have to go into SimPE! In either case I usually just like to tweak the age groups a little and make it a bit longer, so it's like vanilla with a twist? Mainly I like the adult stage to last longer because I was tired of every grandparent dying of extreme old age when their grandkids were toddlers.

I got some Simming time in recently and got a much needed project done! I have a household now living in Coconut Cove, one of my vacation hoods (using some fancy footwork with mods and such since Sims can't actually live in a vacation hood) but as such I needed some more lots that support full time living, as opposed to just vacationing. Most importantly, a grocery store!

So this is a cute little grocery store that fits the look of Coconut Cove, and will also be handy theoretically for those who are just staying for a short visit and will be cooking their own food (even though the fridges come already stocked...). I included a little cafe and food cart patio on the side as well.

Also just noticed I missed some ceiling tiles as I edited these photos, will have to get back in and fix those before I send anyone to this lot in game!

Sneak peek… I may or may not be setting up my first new neighbourhood in ten years….

I cannot believe eight years ago today I created the first two Sims for this hood 😭 And now these lovely Sims are long gone, and so are two of their three kids, but they have six grandkids and five great-grandkids (and counting) living on in the hood, along with the rest of the Brightmaple community.

Joshua and Roxanne, you will always be famous!

I remember so well being very excited about the idea of creating this hood, and even more so after the first Sims were made - it was literally coming alive!
