no,  it’s  definitely  an  apology.  she’s  been  all,  but  fair;  practically  dishing   out  similarly  offensive  treatments  given  to  jeremy.  the  same  piss  poor    attitude  she  bestows  upon  anyone  new  on  her  team.  anyone  she  doesn’t  trust.  he’s  her  new  boss.  taking  dolls’s  place.  it  isn’t  an  easy  pill  to  swallow.  she  has  a  shit  time  with  authority  at  her  crux  &  only  just  got  used  to  sort-of  taking  orders  &  compromising  with  her  former.    then,  that  bitch  lucado  sends  this  guy,  expecting  wynonna  to  roll  over   like  some  kind’a  dog?   fuck  no,   not  without  a  fight        &  she’s  been  putting  up  a  hell  of  a  good  one  too.  lip’s  upper  corner  flinches  as  he  rightfully  ribs  her,  &  while  she  secretly        appreciates  their  alike  sense  of  cynicism,  his  timing  is  poorly  executed.  if  only  odell  really  knew  how  difficult  it  is  for  her  to  even  passively  admit  any  of  her  transgressions. habitually,  she  either  slights  or  runs.           ❝     worse?  really?  i  didn’t  think  it  was   possible.    ❞           brows  rise  &  resile,  fleeting   mordacity  reeling   half   of  a  smile.            ❝   but  no,  honestly  you’ve  been  great.  it’s  just,                   i  hope  you  can  kind’a  understand  where  i’m  coming  from.  dolls  was  my  partner,  for  a  long  time  you  know?   he  was  my  best  friend.  what   happened   sucks.  none  of  this  is               easy.  ❞            nothing  ever  is.  everything  is  complicated  when  you’re  an  earp.
