Location 1000 light years away from earth (The Far Far Range)

Everyone lives a bit closer together than they would if Slime Rancher canon would be followed 100%

Everyone has a small slime version of themselves

Timelines, resets etc. don’t exist

Still lazy

Is supposed to focus on taking care of the slimes, fruit trees and vegetables on the ranch, but Papyrus usually ends up having to do everything instead

Personally only owns a bunch of Puddle slimes and a couple of Gordos

Lives with Papyrus (younger brother) and Gaster (dad)

Can’t teleport

No bone magic

Has Gaster Blasters, but they only shoot water (They are just Anti-Tarr combat equipment)

Also still has telekinetic abilities

Papyrus

Pretty much the only one of the family that actually takes care of the ranch

Still a precious goofball

Big fan of Undyne

Lives with Sans (older brother) and Gaster (dad)

Same abilities as Sans

Gaster

Slime scientist

Very focused on his research

Travels around the Range a lot

Is the one that actually owns the ranch and almost everything on it

Has at least one coral,garden or coop full with each type of slime, vegetable, fruit and Hen hen (for research purposes)

Has a lot more Quantum slime than other slimes

Said Quantum slimes also have a habit of escaping pretty often

Is forbidden by Sans to go to Glass Desert

Got the cracks on his face when getting hit by a flying boulder during Solar Anomaly in Glass Desert

Most likely only survived the incident because Sans was there

Lives with Sans and Papyrus (both are his sons)

Same abilities as the rest of the family, but stronger telekinetic powers

Asgore

Runs a small grocery store

Is a bit incompetent when it comes to slime ranching, but is very good at gardening and taking care of Hen hens

Lives with Toriel (wife), Asriel (son), Chara and Frisk (adopted children)

Has fire magic, but it’s mainly used for cooking and taking care Fire slimes

Toriel

Runs the ranch

The one that usually takes care of the slimes

Gets annoyed with Asgore’s incompetence at taking care of slimes sometimes

Amazing cook

Was good friends with Chara’s parents

Lives with Asgore (husband), Asriel (son), Chara and Frisk (adopted children)

Has fire magic just like Asgore

Asriel

Is one year younger than Chara

Wants to become a famous slime rancher (somehow?)

Very enthusiastic and interested in learning new things

Considers Chara a sibling and Frisk a very good friend (who just happens to live with them)

Lives with Asgore (dad), Toriel (mom), Chara and Frisk (adopted sibling and friend)

Has fire magic, but can barely do anything with it yet

Chara

A year older than Asriel

Loves Tarrs

Tried to keep a Tarr as a pet once; it almost resulted in Tarr outbreak on the ranch

Their mother died when they were 3 years old, and their dad didn’t feel like they could take care of the kid alone, so they left them with the Dreemurrs and then left the planet

Lives with the Dreemurrs (adoptive family) and Frisk (adopted friend)

Doesn’t have any magic powers

Frisk

Was adopted by the Dreemurrs when they were 4 years old

Approx 3 years younger than Asriel

Surprisingly mature or their age

Alphys

Slime scientist

Tries to come up with improvements to slime ranching with science

Not quite as focused on her research as Gaster, and spends a lot more time bonding with her slimes

Loves anything that is part Tabby slime, but her favourites are Pink Tabbys

Sees Gaster as a role model

Is officially in a relationship with Undyne

Has very weak electric magic (mainly used for science)

Shares (and lives on) a big ranch with Undyne

Undyne

The Far, Far Range’s #1 Slimeball player

Lost her left eye in a incident involving Tarr

Tries to make new largos, but usually ends up with Tarr instead

Has a lot of Hunter and Saber slimes and largos

Is a pro handling feral slimes

Doesn’t have any magic, but is strong physically instead

Is officially in a relationship with Alphys

Lives on a shared ranch with Alphys

Mettaton

Was “created” by Alphys’ parents

Admires Alphys’ work, but doesn’t show it

Funds Alphys’ research anonymously

Sends Napstablook mail frequently

Owner of the MTT corporation (A branch of the 7zee corporation mainly focused on monsters)

Own a ranch that he barely visits

The ranch is handled by Napstablook

Napstablook

Takes care of Metatton’s ranch

The ranch only has a couple fruit trees and ponds with puddle slimes despite being a lot fancier than your average slime farm

The pink splotch on his body is the result of getting jumped at by wild Pink Slimes

Grillby

Owns a café

Close friends with the Skeletons and Dreemurrs

Own a bunch of Fire slimesIs very fond of his slimes and cuddles with them when no one’s around

Only Asgore, Gaster and Sans know of his cuddling habits (and have promised not to tell anyone)

Gets embarrassed easily

Monster Kid

Has prosthetic arms made by Alphys

Was born without arms despite the rest of his family having them

More or less best friends with Frisk

Big fan of both Undyne and Papyrus

Has a small ranch that goes in the family

Only has a few corals

Mainly collects plorts from the wild
