I feel like Avery looks straight as fuck most of the time. He literally has pictures of him posing with fish, he does not look gay just from looking at him

The exception is when he is interacting with Mr. d3rLord3 in any way shape or form. And then he practically radiates gay vibes. 

During the QnA stream, Avery gets a question about his sexuality. He confirms that he is queer (my hc is bi) which is why his chat immediately pegged him for having a crush on Der 

Derek has not publicly said anything about his sexuality, leading Avery to have minor what-if-he’s-not-even-gay panic

They watch a horror movie together for Halloween (it takes place in october now bc I said so /j) and on a jumpscare Avery grabs onto Derek’s arm. Derek immediately looked at Avery in shock, and now Avery is horrified for a different reason. He immediately lets go and starts apologizing because shiiiiiiiiit shit SHIT, nice going, real subtle- His internal (and external) ramblings are cut off by Derek wordlessly wrapping his arm around Avery’s shoulders and tugging him closer. Neither one of them could tell you how the movie ended. 

Avery is taller. I love taller Avery, especially for irl stuff. And it fits the nerd x jock trope perfectly!! 

Avery could bench press Derek, and this fact makes Der feel things. 

This is also funny if Avery is shorter and can still bench press Derek 

It is ALSO funny if they are the exact same height, but Derek has long hair that he will pull into a bun just to be slightly taller. And yes, he does this just so that he can tease Avery
