Being kind to yourself includes being kind to your past self. It’s easy with the benefit of hindsight to wish you could yell at the you from five or ten years ago. But remember you didn’t have the knowledge and wisdom then that you have now. Isn’t it so much more motivating to know that your future self is looking back on you and cheering you on and believing in you, rather than thinking about how they’re looking back and thinking you’re an idiot? We’ve all done things we aren’t proud of and that we wish we could take back, but instead of being down on your past self, be proud of them for how much they’re going to grow and learn as a result of their mistakes.
Went from 200+ lbs to 144 lbs . I struggled from 6th grade to my freshman year of college with my weight. If I can do it, you can do it.
Update, my weight shifts from losing weight to gaining weight, it is truly a life changing style, you have to be very strict but also learn to not give up if you gain instead of lose, self discipline is key. I lost 80+ in one year let’s lose 40 more pounds this year!! Goal weight: 120lbs
