6 months left with you as of today

well.. that’s at least what the doctors say

the only thing holding my heart and mind together

& i don’t know how to exist without you

how selfish to will you to live

when i forgot how to feel

nature always has her way

and in the end this is always a losing game

to love is better than to have not they say

forever isn’t real and i was naive to think it would be for us

selfishly terrified of my existence without yours

but it’s written in the stars 

i’ll hold you 

even if i can only do so with my heart

my only true love

even in death we shall not part

saved by your existence

i can’t let your efforts go to waste

but without you i am nothing but a vessel of empty space

even the emotions have managed to escape these last few years..

a hint of one of the most deep rooted feelings

has sprouted and although its aching,

it’s present and here.
