"GORGEOUS LOOKING MAN also he's got a sad backstory and I think that's reason enough to forgive all of his crimes" 2. "His backstory is horrible and sympathetic and does a lot to explain why he is the way he is; he is often 'kind' about his killings in that he makes an effort to lull his victims into a state wanting death (where most other vamps in-universe thrive on the victims' terror); he is genuinely just a fucked-up little dude who desperately wants to be loved for who he is but barely knows how to be himself in pursuit of that goal, spends most of his (very long) life playing into roles that others demand of him and shaping himself to their wants." 3. "Hes so complicated and you can see the gears turning in his head to make sure he’s never left alone since he doesn’t believe he can exist without making his entire world a person or group of people. His desperation to not be alone is so interesting and seeing how far he goes to make this not happen is so good." 4.
