Be thankful for everybody in your life, good and bad, past and present. They all made you the person that you are today.

Knowing can be a curse on a person’s life. I’d traded in a pack of lies for a pack of truth, and I didn’t know which one was heavier. Which one took the most strength to carry around? It was a ridiculous question, though, because once you know the truth, you can’t ever go back and pick up your suitcase of lies. Heavier or not, the truth is yours now.

Every love that leads away from His love is in fact a punishment; only a love that leads to His love is a heartfelt and pure love.

Many of us spend our whole lives running from feeling with the mistaken belief that you cannot bear the pain. But you have already borne the pain. What you have not done is feel all you are beyond that pain.

I asked for flowers, you got me whole forest I asked for water, you got me nectar What should I ask for you to give yourself to me? I got lost in the jungle, you came as the path ahead I got lost in the darkness, you came as the light Where should I get lost for you yourself to come? I fell into a pit, you took me to a peak I fell into water, you took me to the shore Where shall I fall for you to take me beside you?

If there’s one person in this world that deserves your patience, affection, love and respect, it’s your mother.

Be a good person, but don’t waste time proving it.
