“Look I’m sure the game will be great but I’ve got some other things to do so… I think I’m just going to grab some churros and be on my merry way,” Dominique told the other who was inviting her to go and watch the final match. “Lemme know who wins, hmm? Although I’m sure it’ll be plastered all over the Daily Prophet tomorrow anyways.”

“Come on,” Skye said, nudging Dominique with her arm. “I’m in the final match. You can’t miss my final game! I’ll be so disappointed if I don’t see you there.” She offered the other a teasing pout, obviously joking. She understood wanting to get out of here; she was going to go home and pass out after the final match, but for now, she was needed here. “Just stay for at least half.” 

“I haven’t finished my first coffee yet and you want me to take part in what?” Elide asked, blinking rapidly when the other explained what was going on.

“Oh, it’s not me that what’s you to join,” Skye said, laughing softly. “I just thought that you were on that team.” She points to the one getting together for the next set of events, happy to know that her events were over for the time being. “Maybe you’ll be able to finish your coffee after all,” she offered.

“Trust me I’ve been suggesting Taylor Swift lyrics as names of new potions for a while now, but they won’t allow me to go ahead with it.” Elodie sighed, tucking a strand of blonde hair behind her ear. “If you ask me, those who don’t like Taylor can’t be trusted, they clearly have both bad judgement and taste. I’m happy to help point them in the direction of Folklore and change their lives for the better.”

Skye laughed softly as she put down a bottle of perfume that she’d been looking at, turning her gaze back to Elodie and watching her with an amused expression on her face. “You seem really passionate about this,” she teased softly, not meaning any offense by it. “And like you’ve had this argument before.” 

“I can’t help but feel that way though. No matter how many times you said it,” Gale explained quietly, looking down at his tea. He shrugged, “I don’t know. What is there?”

“I know, honey,” she said, sighing softly. She didn’t fault her brother for the ways that he felt, but sometimes she wished that she could help him more than she did. “Whatever you want. You tell me something you’re craving and I’ll see if I can whip it up,” she promised. 

“Good idea,” Jules agreed. As they started walking, she began to feel a little more optimistic about finding Toad, but realised her plan might have been foiled. “Erm, can you not tell Gale about the fizzing wizzbees? They’re part of a surprise day out I’m planning for next week. It should be impossable to guess what it is just from that one clue, but I know what he’s like.”

Skye raised an eyebrow at her for a moment, surprised that Gale didn’t already know about them, considering they were so close. But if it was a surprise, she certainly wasn’t going to be the one to ruin it. “Of course. My lips are sealed,” she teased. “Is it... a date?” she asked, not wanting to pry but just curious. 

“Of course not. I mean like I’m not gonna go on some fancy vacation or sky diving or something. I’m not adventurous at all,” Gale explained, even though he quickly realised she was teasing. He smiled at her, “I think you’re house is great but you know I don’t like being too much of an intrusion on you guys and your married life.”

Skye rolled her eyes. “You know you’re not intruding. Ben and I are happy to have you here,” she pointed out, licking her lips and smiling gently as she rounded the corner and went over to their refrigerator. “What do you want for lunch?” she asked, looking over at him expectantly. 

“Thanks Skye,” Jules said, smiling up at her. “I last saw it a couple of minutes ago. I went into Honeydukes to get some fizzing whizzbees for Gale and when I came out he was gone, I guess I didn’t lock the cage correctly…”

“It happens to the best of us,” she said gently, shrugging her shoulders to show her that it wasn’t a big deal, that it would be okay. “Let’s go over to Honeydukes and look there. They might know if someone has seen them.” 

“Do you mind if I run a few simple ones today?” She asked the other, having a couple in mind that she wanted to perform, some vitals she wanted to measure, but of course she needed the others permission before doing anything. “Did you know that you mental state could be a big player on the ability to fall pregnant?” She told the other, “Overthinking and stressing about it, planning it to ever second and every minute. Feeling the pressure that it has to be the next time, it’s not healthy and if you’re putting your body through stress, well it’s going to be a lot harder to become pregnant.”

Skye nodded her head. She was here to finally figure out what was happening, what she could do to fix the problem that she and Ben were having. Her words made her pause, and she blinked, thinking it over. “I didn’t think about that,” she admitted, sighing softly. “I guess that could be part of it. I want to give him a baby, and it’s just... so stressful.” She looked down at her hands, flexing them softly. “We’ve put so much focus on it. It doesn’t make it easy.” 

Molly listened to the other, a small smile on her face as she could tell this was something very important to Skye. “Have you had any tests done since you’ve been trying, I know you’ve mentioned that the outcome may not be possible, but since there have you been to see a healer?” She asked the other, wondering if there was anything for her to go off of to help the other out.

Skye shook her head. If she was being honest, healers made her nervous. They had since her miscarriage. And while she knew that that wasn’t an excuse not to see one, she hadn’t felt the need since a few years prior. “Not since we’ve been trying to get pregnant,” she told her, taking her bottom lip between her teeth and gnawing on it for a short moment. “I’ve been feeling okay, health wise. Everything seems to be in order. It’s just the lack of pregnancy that has me worrying.” 

“How many third years do you think you could fight?” Len questioned as she ate lunch. She took another bite of her salad, finishing that bite before speaking again. “I saw a fifth year the other day and if I fought them, I could definitely take on like two of them. So like I think I could take on like five third years. I’m not saying I will, but I could.”

Skye shrugged her shoulder, reaching out for her glass and taking a sip of her water before she even thought about answering Len. “I don’t know,” she said, laughing softly under her breath. “Why would you even want to? I don’t think that they’re worth the energy,” she said, shaking her head in mild exasperation. 

“Have you seen a ferret running about anywhere?” Juliet asked, in a panicked tone. “He’s white, and goes by the name Toad. I’m meant to be watching him for a friend and if they find out I let him go missing, they will kill me.”

“Don’t worry,” Skye said, reaching out and pressing her hand against Jules’ upper arm, squeezing it lightly in comfort. “I’m sure we’ll be able to find the creature. You just have to retrace your steps. It couldn’t have gotten too far.” She raised an eyebrow at the other expectantly. “When did you last see it?” 

“Oh no, not doing much this summer. Home for a bit, staying with my sister a bit but no holidays or traveling,” Gale said, sipping on his tea, “I’m very, very boring.”

“You act as though staying with me is boring,” she teased him, coming around the counter and pressing her hand on one side of his head, pulling him in and pressing a kiss to the other side. “I’m not sure Ben would appreciate the slander that you’re making on our household,” she joked. 

Molly had to admit, she wasn’t really one to do favors for friends or family when it came to her job. Most of the time there was too much emotional attachment there and she knew she would feel too much guilt if something ultimately went wrong on her watch. However when she found out that Skye simply wanted to have a talk, maybe take some tests, well she broke some of her rules. Sitting across from the blonde she smiled, something that came naturally now the made patients feel less nervous, or so she hoped. “Okay, so-… what did you want to talk to me about. I’m not saying it’s not nice to get visitors, but normally people want to meet in a coffee shop to catch up. Booking an appointment seems more like a ‘I need your help’ kind of situation.”

Skye was nervous, to say the least. She knew that the conversation she was going to have was personal, and while she appreciated that Ben had reached out to Molly and that she was willing to help, it felt weird to have someone else outside of her immediate family and friend group know about the problems that she was having. Sighing, she tucked some of her hair behind her ear and looked up at Molly with a hesitant smile on her face. “Well,” she said, letting out a breathless laugh. “Ben and I have been trying to have a child,” she confessed, not really wanting to beat around the bush with it. She thought just getting it out of the way would be better for the both of them. “And it’s been months with no such luck. I... have been told before that I might not be able to have children. But I want to know my options and if you can help in any way because I want to give Ben a child so badly.”
