this was stupid. savannah was stupid. why was she even doing this right now?

meeting up with her former situationship wasn't on her original plans for friday night. she was supposed to work, head over to karaoke night, and come back home. but, sully had agreed to be with rhia last minute for the night sooooo ... the opportunity sort of fell right into her lap. it was just for the night, a booty call if that. she deserved those every once in awhile, right? before she could change her mind, the blonde finds herself arriving at indra's place, still dressed in her work attire ( scrubs and all ).

"hope i didn't keep you waiting for too long, huh?" she spoke, trying her hardest to come somehow come off as hot and mysterious and not awkward as hell, like she was feeling right now.

on paper, someone like savannah objectively looked like she didn't belong on a team like the cheerios. at first, she almost had been a little shocked she had made the team to begin with. despite having the skill to be a decent flyer, the blonde wasn't sure if she'd fit in amongst her other teammates. luckily, she did for the most part, micah being someone she'd became besties with.

practice had finished up for everyone and sav was ready to unwind for the rest of the day. "you killed it today," she exclaimed to her friend, wrapping her arm around her shoulder, her other free hand holding her beloved cheer bag. "please tell me you're not doing anything after because you're hanging out with me, alright?"

truth be told, there had been a high level of relief that came from savannah when she had heard who she had been paired with for the first glee club assignment. she'd been blessed to have a partner that hopefully wouldn't be too opinionated with song choices, someone she could actually collaborate with and find some common ground. that was the beauty of the mashup, being able to take two songs that might not work in theory, but being able to make something really special.

"so," savannah began, notebook and pen out as she already had some ideas on her end scribbled out. "is there any genres you were thinking could mesh well together? or any songs that immediately come to mind that you're wanting to try out for this?" she asked. "i won't lie, i'm lowkey glad you're my partner for this by the way," she confessed with a giggle.

"okay," savannah spoke, wiping off her hands with a napkin. it was currently their first day in the big apple and she was determined to give kai the full experience during their trip. first on the agenda? make him try a true new york style bagel and pizza. it would be a crime if that wasn't on the top of her list of the most tourist things for the two of them to do. "what's the verdict? do you think the pizza or bagel is better? i think rhia's vote is the bagel," she let out a laugh, glancing over to her daughter who happily had a piece of the bread in her hands, munching away at it. "you can be totally honest if the subway trip and the long line wasn't worth it for either."

"i'm not really sure about this one," savannah sighed out in frustration. it had been an unexpected afternoon hanging out with natalia. she was someone whom normally she wouldn't gravitate towards, their personalities being very much the opposite. yet, a bit of an unexpected friendship seemed to be potentinally blooming and sav wasn't completly against it. they were in the middle of their second store of the afternoon, after having lunch. sav's mission? finding a nice dress to wear to one of her upcoming broadway shows in new york. "i trust your opinion since you're always wearing cute shit but this just doesn't scream me," she admitted. "i'm sorry if i'm being a pain in the ass right now."

savannah had been trying to find her brother by the open bar for what seemed like a million years. clearly, he seemed to be enjoying himself, perhaps a bit too much. in her eyes, it seemed like he needed to slow his roll before he would do something more stupid than usual. "sullivan," she shouted out his full name, eyes glaring at him. "your next order here better be for a tall cup of water and nothing else."

savannah now was on drink number two? no, drink number three and feeling wonderful. stumbling around, trying to decide what her next side quest for the evening was going to be, the girl didn't even realize she'd ran into someone else. "oh shit, i am so so so sorry," she exclaimed, the contents of her cup flying onto the other.
