The man wasn't willing to just say what he really had for that much. He wanted to know, knowing what the person wanted gave him wiggle room. Valetin was more than prepared to cheat and lie his way through this.

“I’m only 15 ya dumb fuck.”

"Exactly! Goddamn, I vas doing fuckin' more zen not even knowin' anyone vhen I vas fifteen."

"Oh I’m SO GLAD to have your approval."

"Not many people got it. Cherish it."

"Maybe because you’re nice?" Of course she didn’t really think that, she would have been a naive fool to do so. But what good reason did she possibly have? She couldn’t offer the other anything, didn’t have anything to offer. "Or maybe because there’s something you need to be done, anything I can help you with?”

The man was far more than done hearing her try to convince him. He was also curious as to why she was asking him for help. He thought you had to be in a pretty shitty position to be asking a guy like him for help.
