Ahhhh Thank you @maeskarlien (Karlien Maes) for saying this!! I’ve been trying to explain this, and how irritating on so many levels this sort of minimizing line of statements and questioning can be, to my straight friends...and I’ve been met mostly with defensiveness as if my sexuality is somehow theirs to project outward for their own aesthetic...or my favorite has been the follow up statements such as, “You’re being overly dramatic” , “why are you so uptight?” , “it’s a compliment. Why are you being such a bitch?” 🙄 unless you’ve had to go through most of your adult life getting dumb fucking statements like these tossed at you as if it’s a totally acceptable sorta thing to say to a person...please, don’t pretend to understand my struggle and then tell me how I should react or respond or FEEL about it! K thanks 👌🏼 So thank you again lovely lady for making an amazing video to showcase one of our daily lesbian struggles, that most people just don’t seem to understand! 💅🏻
