My Drawings

I would say I heard it’s the Summer of Supergirl, but honestly, besides her 90’s run (if it counts) and her new one, I’m currently reading the last of her completed solos (rebirth), and there were some cute panels of her tiny that I wanted to try to do. Only four that don’t come from Rebirth are the one of her drinking from World’s Finest where her and Dick are on a date. The retro-Kara with a bobcut was referenced from @mikemaihack, the small little (bad ones with the wiggly fingers) was referenced from Sasha the Showgirl in an attempt to make something retro. And the final one was my attempt at mixing some vintage-looking styles together. I really need to practice girls more.

A digital attempt at Dick out of uniform. It has its problems, but I don't hate it as much as I normally would, so I'll take it. @hains-mae I'm the anon who said they realized the blue collar and the mole snuck their way into my subconscious when I drew Dick. I can't say this is how I usually draw him, but I kind of somehow mixed my style with the reference while trying to emulate your style and this was the result.

Is it the best? Nope, but I enjoyed drawing it (once I figured out a pose), and it is not even close to what I was going to draw originally for him, but that original idea was bothering me too much so I was happy to ditch it. I did enjoy mixing acrylic markers with colored pencils though. The ink…not so much.

Aka: Practice sheet for Art Shuttle and Ohuhu markers with some pen work to convince myself I do know what I’m doing. Also known as feeling like the main girl from Monthly Shoujou Nozaki-Lyn, cause did I have a rough time without references.

10 hours of playing around in CPS (a good hour and a half was trying to get my crap to connect and work cause god forbid something goes smoothly at this point of time), and it's not the best and digital art is still not even close to being comfortable for me, but here's a Tempest sticker with my redesign of him since I liked the red and black color scheme of his previous outfit but his new outfit just looks better to me. And hoping the scars look more like scars than tattoos cause let my boy bleed for his magic.

Some of these have been sitting for literal months cause drawing space taken up by other things and depression is a pain. It literally was just on my dash and it will not come up for anything, please if you know who it is, please let me know cause I’m mad that I can’t find it), chibi!Dick (ref. some chibi ref sheet I saved from ages ago), Blobwing (ref. my brain) Jason Todd (ref. myself and sweater courtesy of my love of Picasso’s art, not the man), and Qin Shi Huang, my beloved lunatic, (ref. So my art space has been taken over for the past (almost) 3 months and I’ve had no place to comfortably do anything, but was watching my cousin’s kids this afternoon and the youngest has a little drawing/writing tablet. Said screw it while waiting for their bus and here’s Ivan from Alien Stage. Ref. My Clematis Ivan/Till cover on YouTube.

And also tried out some new colored pens and so we got snarky Garth and a sad but still living Nightwing (it’s funny when you realize you have a design for his outfit but no one else’s. You can pry his blue collar from my cold, dead hands.), a Blackbat Cass (ref. @slumberytea) and an outline of Starfire to be colored later, it’s just late (ref. @paunchsalazar) and also a tiny Jason (ref @pinkiemachine) cause I can’t crop apparently.

Fab 4, very pixelated due to me sucking at photos yay! And before you ask, I couldn’t think of a pose for Roy and there was a mixup with the colors for Donna. I do color her tan, but not that shade.

I enjoy a good free art workshop. I haven’t used acrylics in forever so turned out better than I thought. Painting is just fun.

You know for my first digital only full-on picture, I'm decently happy with this. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to drawing and coloring digitally, but hey, we all have to start somewhere and I painted a good hummingbird the other day, so I know I can do it.
