"Psst..." Caine tapped an unconscious you softly. However you didn't make a sign of movement.

Part of him didn't want to wake you, knowing that you both got home late last night due to an after party for the circus. But him being the most extra husband he is, he made the both of you a huge breakfast to celebrate his day off.

He worries that the food will get cold and you wont enjoy it... giving you another tap, testing the waters. Its clear that you're in a deep sleep and he would have to take extra measures to wake you.

He placed his hand on your shoulder and began to shake you. Groaning, you weakly pushed his hand away.

"Darling...!" His gentle voice was shot down with your harsh voice. He knew you were not a morning person whatsoever.

"What."

He flinched.

"U-uhm... don't you want to spend time with... jolly ol' me...?" You softened slightly, remembering it was his day off.

"So early-?" You protested, cut off by a loud and obnoxious yawn that made Caine feel horrible for waking you, but you began to stretch anyway. Caine brushes your hair out of your face, admiring you, even when you had drool around your mouth, and crusty eyes right now.

"Honey, it's 12..."

"Ughhhh." You groaned, "We got home at 3 in the morning, you cant blame me."

"I would never blame you, my glorious, graceful, love." He kisses your cheek, "mmmwah." When he pulled away, your eyes was already closed again. Snoring softly.

He squinted his eyes. His breakfast will not go to waste. You'll even thank him. His fingers trailed to your stomach to begin tickling you, in hope you wouldn't kick him across the floor.

Cracking a smile you shifted trying to move away from his hand. When he didn't stop you sprung up with a loud cackle, "-Okay im up-!" He chuckled, hands around your waist.

Finally noticing the sweet and savory aroma in the air, you grinned at him. "Pancakes?" He nodded, gazing up at you like you were worth doing anything for, cause you were in his eyes.

"And so much more! Come see-!" You abruptly hugged him, snuggling your face against his shoulder. Your morning clingyness made it a nightmare for him to get up and to go to work. It made his heart break when you once cried, just wanting to be held by your husband, (he cried too)

"Im sorry I was mean." You mumbled against him.

"No... dont apologize beautiful." He urged you to stand up, now walking to the kitchen.

"This is the moment you've been waiting for! Are you ready...!" You giggled as he talked with his ringmaster voice.

"Yes, I'm starving!"

"Ta-da!!!" He really made up a feast today, all of yours and his favorites. He didnt take his eyes off of you, awaiting your reaction.

"Aww Caine!" You squealed looking at him, before back at the surprising breakfast. "You did so good, thank you." He blushed at the praise.

"N-no problem at all- really- anything for you..." he stumbled over his words as you began eating the freshly cut fruit.

You could never get how he could be so confident during shows and when others compliment him, nothing could damper his boldness. Well, until you, you can make him melt and blush without even trying too.

"Caine could you please get me a glass of water?"

"On it!" He springs into action.

You sat on the chair, and enjoyed the rest of the food he made. Caine came back, handing you the glass of water with a grin.

You smiled back fixing a strand of his hair by habit.

"You might be the best husband ever, I love you." Your hand held his face, adoringly. He looked at you, frozen with literally stars gleaming in his eyes.
