Trans Wrath | Trans Pride

Did a companion piece to a Trans Pride | Trans Wrath piece I did over a year ago and then realised I never posted it here. So here's both together!

The first was made to help vent my feelings regarding the dialogue surrounding trans people in the media/ government in the UK. Alas going into 2025, even with a (useless) Labour government, little has been done to alleviate those feelings.

Both these are made with our community in mind. We are our strongest allies, and we can accomplish so much if we stay strong and channel that anger into helping and supporting each other, and that's what I want to manifest for the coming year. Trans people have always existed, and we shall continue to.

Another speed paint/ colourblind challenge/ excuse to draw Izzy Hands.

Speed paint practice combined with the "colourblind" challenge where my tablet is set to black and white, and I choose a random colour palette to use and only reveal it at the end.

Kintsugi

A self-portrait honouring the scars of my top surgery.

Most representations of trans men post top surgery depict them as having scars from double incision surgery as this is the most common performed. As a trans man who was very lucky to be able to receive periareolar, I can feel a little left out of that representation.

Myself and a friend were going to start a little art club between us where we took the time to do one piece of art, say every month. This one was based on our first prompt, where we generated three random words and then drew something based on those words.

The words for this were: Mortality. Hell. Wine

I knew immediately what I wanted to draw.
