Kari GalvĂŁo, 29. Freelance Photographer and Lettering/visual artist. Brazil. // I began this project in 2014 as a way to practice and start drawing again since a 2-year of creative block [perfectionist allert!]. At first, I used to draw from reference images that inspired me to help me through this process [I'm sorry I couldn't find all the original source of the illustrations at the time to credit the artists! It was all spread on the Internet when I started to get them around 2012! :/ but thank you so much to all of them for inspiring me and helping me to start drawing again! It really means a lot]. So, my goal here is to keep encouraging myself to practice and produce more, so I gotta have at least one new art to post on my Instagram accounts [@sketchdequinta / @kari_kakau - links below!] and here on Thursdays, to keep feeding the project. Time has passed and I was slowly getting into the world of letters. I'm happy that I'm finally finding myself in the lettering art, where I can put ideas on paper and really start to create from the scratch. I hope I can keep fighting the perfectionist block and keep learning new ways to turn letters into a beautiful artwork.
