Meeeoooow!Β It's Independence Day today here in the Philippines!Β Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!Β So, going with the theme, I drew another botanical version of the Philippine flag.Β This was fun to do!Β I used Unipin fineliner pen for the line art and then rendered it with Kuretake Tambi Gansai gouache paints.Β Still learning to paint with gouache.Β I can't seem to get that creamy, wet texture, it gets dry fast and I can't load the paintbrush with paint.Β Still trying to get back into doing art/creative stuff... Hard to do when life stuff gets in the way and emotionally draining.... Anyway, have a lovely and meowy day!Β Β
