JF: I get a lot of input for everybody, but it's not exactly spontaneous requests but ideas with more theatrical/technical concerns. By putting some songs together you can make instrument transitions faster, and by keeping some songs apart you can make some songs seem more original (!?!) And the band will remind me of simple things, like making the second set slightly shorter than the first is kind of good form, and not accidentally putting a song on the set list twice doesn't really end with a good result.

JF: hmmm. The first version of the song, if memory serves, was recorded at Avatar Studios (the former Power Station) essentially as a one-off to be included in the movie, and quite contemporanious to the wrapping up of the films production (which is typical of many soundtrack-driven music placements) but we knew nothing of the movie, and were not shown a frame or a line of description. (To quote a character in Barton Fink--"Wrestling picture. What do you need, a roadmap?!")

JF: after many years of being only occasionally "pushy" (as in pushing objects off of tables or mantles) he has taken to it on the regular. It is diabolical.
