Bruce could feel himself break Jasons ribs, he thinks a part of him deep down knew it was too late. But he couldnt stop.

"Come on baby, come on by sweetheart. Dont leave me."

How could he stop, how could he give up. If there was even a one percent chance that his sons heart would beat.

It had been 40 minutes.

"Please god please, dont let my baby boy leave me. Please."

His sobs took over, the chest compressions ending. His body lay acrossed his sons corpse. Shaking.

"Im sorry, im sorry, please dont leave me."

Bruce looked at his sons face, swollen and bloody. He kissed his forehead and pulled the boy into his lap.

Holding him like a baby, how he did to tease Jason for being small.

He rocked him, gently.

As if to put him to sleep.

"Youre not alone anymore okay, youre going to see some old people- not old, about my age. You cant hit them, even if they are 'too white'"

He barely even noticed himself pull of the cowl. Too lost in thought

"Tell them you are their grand baby, theyll keep you safe, and loved. Theyll love you. Your grandpa loved to read, hell tell you all about medicine. Your grandma liked those chick novels you always liked too."

I wish they made it more ambiguous in the show, but nonetheless.

Laenor was their father, whether they had his blood or not. He raised them, he took care of them.

It was more of a sperm donation situation, and at most an adoption situation.

They were born within wedlock, they were never really proven to be bastards in the books. And even then they cant prove they were not Laenors, no one was watching 24/7 in case they fuck. Hair doesnt mean shit because genetics are funky.

And in the end i decided not to. Because i didnt want to risk having to read about Tim Drake.

I wish there was less Lobo, or added more character to him rather than him just kinds being there as a cashgrab. Throw Crush in the cages to add emotional depth.

Make him have a reason for violence or enjoying Krem's death. And why he had a soft spot for Ruthye.

Honestly i dont understand the dact English is apparently the universal language.

Kara should have stopped that families murder instead of constantly telling Ruthye how she cant kill a child rapist/murderer.

I didnt like them making Kara younger than Kal-El. Imo it is key for her character to be older. To have known Krypton, to have held Kal.

And i still despise their choice of turning Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van into supremacists who want to colonize. But i talked about that in another post

Because they accepted Damia (Demetria? Daphne? Damiana?) Faster than him because she is a girl.

Not even intentionally misogynistic. But more of a reflex. Bruce didnt see himself. And the darkness within. He didnt see the possibility of Ra's in his sons eyes.

Instead he saw the girl groomed by her father, the girl he loved but couldnt be with.

He saw piece of his mother in his daughters face, and his acceptance helped the rest accept her. Because he didnt have the inherent bias against his child.

And Damian is angry that they could act like that, and at the same time knowing that his gender is the thing that stops him being trusted.

And if someone so desires add in Trans!Dami who blames himself Because if he was cis he wouldnt have those issues.
