Nothing pisses me off more than this panel:

Okay, somethings piss me off more. But it's in my top 10 most hated comics panels for sure. You can really feel Jim Starlin's absolute hatred of Jason Todd bleeding into Bruce's writing here.

"Too short for his passing to cause many ripples" my ass.

Jason had gotten along quite well with the Teen Titans while helping rescue Dick from Brother Blood. And while they were mostly in space at the time, some members Jason had known weren't and would have shown for his funeral (as Jason had shown up to Titans funerals/JLA birthdays) if given a chance.

He also had friends! Superhero sidekick friends!

He had a whole penpal and crime fighting pal in Kid Devil, aka Eddie Bloomberg:

And Jason was close enough to get a nickname and check-ins from a bored Danny Chase who was sitting at home in Titans Tower at the time

But nOoOoOoOoO "too short to cause many ripples" or "Bruce can't tell any of his friends Jason is dead to protect his secret when they all know Jason and Bruce" get the fuck outta here with that nonsense, Starlin.
