Ogles is a Christian nationalist. His twitter feed, if you had the depressed-to-be-a-human-on-earth-at-this-point-in-history experience of encountering it, was a ticker tape of forehead slapping inanities. In recent months he'd been posting a.i. images of himself as a Christian crusader dressed up like a glorified knight in armor.

The idea that people with the qualities of Ogles have power in determining the course of the country is farcical. He's a black mark on the good name of democracy, as are the people who vote for him.
