tumblr! it’s national missing persons day! there’s over 600,000 CHILDREN that are reported missing a year, in the US alone, on average that’s over 2,000 kids a day. the national center for missing and exploited kids said a child goes missing every 40 seconds. can you even imagine how many kids don’t get reported and never receive justice?

5 of the 6 children in the post were not present during christmas. 1 of the 6 children were not present the last 2-3 christmas’ celebrations.

there’s also atleast 100,000+ adults that are reported missing a year, in the US alone (there’s less stats on this so i’m assuming at least double that) and considering adults that aren’t reported i’m gonna guess it’s closer to 300,000.
