I know it’s hard for all with cost of living crisis and energy crisis, but millions are still shopping. Just sucks that most use the big name companies rather than small businesses.

Honestly I wouldn’t have minded as much if I wasn’t living on a poverty income of just a few hundred pounds a month total income! This is my only job as I can’t work but I am not getting enough for heating or food.

I’m scared

I launched a new competition today, this time for a pair of earrings.

You must be in the UK for this one due to shopping costs.

Once I get some sales, I can do more competition with worldwide!

The competition is on gleam with lots of ways to enter, with up to 10 entries per entry option!

I could cry.

I still haven’t sold a single item. I spent so many hours making these items.

I didn’t expect a rush of orders, but I did expect to get 1 or 2!

I don’t know what to do.

I can’t afford heating or enough to get by and now my fridge broke too.

I need money but can’t work due to chronic illness and disability. I’m in poverty and the only good I had, my shop, seems to be failing so far.

I hoped people might want earrings as a gift for Christmas and even as a realist, I expected 1 or 2 orders after 3 months! I thought people might buy their gifts from someone in poverty, it nope!

As someone who uses Twitter for chatting to other disabled people and to promote my shop, it is really bad that it is dying. Sure it isn't dead, but it is dying as people leave to find better places.

This is bad for disabled people and small businesses.

It is such a great site for all, and now he is making is sh*t.

Moderation is now none existent after the staff got fired.

He removed the ability to report impersonation. So those crypto companies and others can now scam people easily.

Allowing people to buy a blue tick = scammers and spammers doing so and people fall for the scams!

He is killing it!

I won't be leaving but I am going to have accounts on other alternatives.

To make it worse, he closed up Twitter until the 21st November so there are NO STAFF!

It is like he wants people to scam and spam. He really has no clue.

My jewellery line went live last week. I promoted about it coming for a while too. Saturated maker, I know but I’m severely chronically ill and disabled and cannot do anything else. This is hard enough but I try as I have to or I won’t survive.

Honestly I did expect a sale or two. I guessed wrong!

I really expected more. Not a lot, like 1 or 2 orders maybe. I really did.

Disappointed. Mainly because I can’t work and struggle to afford 2 meals let alone any heating even though I am home 24/7.

I keep hoping, but I guess I was wrong. Same with printables, but I expected like 2 sales max, but lat least 1. Still zero. So embarrassing too.

I have spent so many hours on this too. Hundreds of hours.

I even ran a competition but that brought no sales and 600 entries.

I can’t afford to live and failing at trying to bring money in. Literally freezing constantly and hungry all the time.

I can’t afford heating or enough food (chronically ill and disabled) and can’t work a regular job. Live in poverty.

I am limited by what I can do and don’t have any relatives alive to help share my posts and no friends do either.

Anyone here a fan of jewellery? Specifically earrings?

I am launching my range this week which is super exciting!

As I am chronically ill and disabled, I am unable to work a regular job and am very limited by what I can do.

Selling printables and jewellery is my only job and only chance of income and enough money for heating and food.

I ran a competition for printables last month, and to celebrate launching jewellery, I will be running another competition to win some earrings too!

ALL proceeds go on essential living costs such as food, medication, heating in winter etc.

I won’t have any heat in winter even though at home 24 hours a day.

I started my shop for money for food, heating p, medication and bills.

I get just over £300 a month which is all I can get due to ridiculous rules about national insurance credits, so I have years more waiting to get ESA, the main disability benefit.

I won’t be able to have heating on in winter even though I’m housebound and live in a stone house that is freezing all year round. Literally 3c indoors in winter. Unbearable.

Without purchases or donations, I won’t be able to survive the winter.

This is my first shop and I have read so many guides. I guess I just have to be patient and make more items to sell.

Worst thing is that, as I live in poverty and can't afford enough to get by due to chronic illness and disability, I NEED money asap just to survive.

Hard to survive on a few hundred a month. Massively below minimum wage equivalent and can't get a penny more.
