"this media feels like a fanfic" could mean several things at this point. please clarify. do you mean ao3 fanfic or wattpad fanfic? did the author get their start writing fic and you're using that to dismiss their writing as unserious or not as good as "original" fiction? are you using "fanficcy" as code for poorly written? or does the media just have common tropes and queer characters?
