Recently I had a medical emergency and got into a car accident. While I was in the hospital my car was robbed. The accident happened on my way to the bank. I had thousands in my car. What matters most is no one got hurt. That alone is worth losing the money and I genuinely mean that. It just kinda adds to the fucked-upness of it all. Two months ago my cats tooth surgery got fucked up and his retina got detached as a result. He may lose sight in that eye. Everyday he gets four eye drops every 4 hours, a pill, and some liquid medicine. It’s been heartbreaking. I can’t even remember what else has fucking happened. I have experiences more travel and more success then I have ever been. I have been sober from alcohol for 6 years. For the past four years I have been in love in the healthiest relationship of my life with the woman I intend to marry. SomehowI feel worse than I have 6-8 years ago and it’s been lasting a long fucking time. This has without a doubt been one of the worst years of my life.

I’ve been sober for 6 years. My greatest accomplishment to date and I truly truly genuinely believe that if I can do this, I can do anything.
