A demo of the dual cuff Watch BP Office.

This is an Accoson Metpak Mk. 2 which I reckon dates from around the mid 1960’s.

It came with the original rubber bladder but it had long since perished. 😕

The cuff was the first I’ve seen that isn’t secured with Velcro…

Instead it’s wrapped around the arm like a bandage with the thin end being tucked under; not easy to do on your own as you can see from my ham-fisted attempt…

Its other noteworthy feature is a scale that goes to 260 mmHg, rather than the more common 300. It makes it slightly more compact but doesn’t leave a lot of headroom for very high blood pressures.

This is now my most favorite combo to take my blood pressure. Previously it was this lovely mercury sphygmomanometer and my Littmann Classic 3, but now my awesome cardio stethoscope is stealing that spot. :P

And rightfully so! It's a great stethoscope to measure blood pressure with! The Korotkoff sounds are rich and very loud.

I decided to make this short video of me taking my blood pressure. Normally I give you the absolute best view of the gauge, but for this video I have decided to show you myself as well. ;)

First measurement was: 142/86

Second measurement was: 154/90

Next to a through heart auscultation, blood pressure measurements are my next favorite thing! Here is one video with my lovely mercury unit.

5 measurements in total, I rested 1 minute between each, but I cut that out from the video. My blood pressure is always a bit elevated when I record, but I'm sure you won't mind that. ;) I also recorded a bit of mitral beats at the end with the lovely mercury bounce, since I love that too.
