•What becomes of Francis after the whole thing involving Adam being killed by The Batter and presumably also Roland (since it's possible to just ignore the Chop Shop)? Does it vary depending on whether or not Adam becomes the Basilisk or not/whether or not Roland had time to turn Magdalene into Lilithe, or is it the same regardless?
•Also, I would assume Noah, Aliza, and Francis would be able to be met and spoke to during The Batter's mission, so what do each of them think of him? Do they think any differently of him after he kills their respective Guardians, or do they not know (with exception of Francis)? What do the attendants think in general after the deaths of their Guardians as separate from The Batter (if they know he killed them)?
•Have Aliza and Noah ever interacted?
•Given Lugosi's breadth of knowledge of the City, does he know of the attendants? Given he gets overwhelmed by the Corruption after completion of the Prison, anything he'd have to say regarding Francis would be impossible to see, but what do you think he feels about Noah and Aliza?
•What becomes of Noah and Aliza in a Blue route? What with Zaphkiel's influence growing so powerful the Gates can no longer impede him, having citizens of their Districts suddenly become different people and talking about God must be perturbing.

you know I heart questions
"What becomes of Francis after the whole thing involving Adam being killed by The Batter and presumably also Roland (since it's possible to just ignore the Chop Shop)? Does it vary depending on whether or not Adam becomes the Basilisk or not/whether or not Roland had time to turn Magdalene into Lilithe, or is it the same regardless?"
Francis is down in the chopshop no matter what the player does, what happens to him doesnt change in a large way, he's pretty much burnt by the time the player/batter is able to run into him in the chopshop. However if you take the route of saving mags first then you'll also be able to "fight" fran, it wont be much of a fight because he's basically just waiting to die from such prolonged burning. If you fight adam first and come back after then you'd find frans body already dead ("body" I imagine. its just his clothes and a black stain all over the ground and walls)
this is subject to change because I do think I want francis to be "closer" to adam. In the sense that adam is interested in his suffering I think.
"Also, I would assume Noah, Aliza, and Francis would be able to be met and spoke to during The Batter's mission, so what do each of them think of him? Do they think any differently of him after he kills their respective Guardians, or do they not know (with exception of Francis)? What do the attendants think in general after the deaths of their Guardians as separate from The Batter (if they know he killed them)?"
"Have Aliza and Noah ever interacted?"
including both questions here because theyre related intrinsically.
Noah and Aliza are acquainted, they used to be closer before the corruption became a problem. Even then, "closer" was basically just they saw each other often while crossing over into the others respective district and often made friendly conversation. Francis hasn't really run into them much! Aliza and Noah are older than Fran by about a decade or so, he only saw the tail end of arbela's golden age I think, but has otherwise been enthralled in working at the factory, and then the prison. He's never had a lot of friends outside of work colleagues.
Noah is intimidated by the batter, but would really appreciate his help in clearing out the bird ghouls in the district. If he caught wind of the batter killing Malachi he wouldn't be sure of what to do. I think dread would overwhelm him and he'd give up and just stay inside. If Malachi is dead then surely the other guardians will follow. He's inconsequential in this greater scheme. Come to think of it, he'd probably fully give into the same kind of fear that consumes zone 2 residents.
Aliza isn't particularly phased by batter, he's strange but she has more things to worry about. Maybe he can clean up some of the ghouls and such.
That is till jadon takes an interest, he shuts her out completely so she can't interfere with any of the plans he has for batter. She gets worried when he won't let her anywhere near him whens he goes to check on him for the day, and puppetted employees begin to. disappear. She gets more worried.
Once the batter clears out from the zone she would find her way in and find jadon. Seeing how multilated his body is she would be horrified. The leader inside her wants to take action, to do something. But the fact he was able to kill jadon, when he's such a powerful guardian. She can sense something larger at play. She would probably try to talk to the rebellion about whats going on, but gets nothing from them. I think after that she would be the one to get the regular people working at the park, and just try to clean things up. She can't shake the image of his body in its mangled state.
"Given Lugosi's breadth of knowledge of the City, does he know of the attendants? Given he gets overwhelmed by the Corruption after completion of the Prison, anything he'd have to say regarding Francis would be impossible to see, but what do you think he feels about Noah and Aliza?"
interesting question! I think he does know of them, but I think most citizens do because of the positions of partial leadership aliza and noah have put themselves into. (Francis ahh. maybe, maybe not. It's interesting to think lugosi and fran have crossed paths as lab boys before though!). I think he would find their (noah and aliza's) dedication to their posts admirable. He might worry and feel bad for noah, because he's clearly not cut out for the things he wants to do to help others. He would probably be impressed by Aliza's resilience in the face of all the bad things happening in her district. If noah wasn't so afraid after malachi dies I could see him going to the city center to just sit and watch lugosi talk.
"What becomes of Noah and Aliza in a Blue route? What with Zaphkiel's influence growing so powerful the Gates can no longer impede him, having citizens of their Districts suddenly become different people and talking about God must be perturbing."
Noah would give in almost immediately to the promise of safety from corruption, it freaks him out to see these people changing and suddenly acting so differently. He's very well acquainted with everyone living in the residential district, but. If theyre giving into it, they seem so peaceful. It honestly shouldn't be so bad for him. Nothing could be worse than knowing its all going to end soon.
Aliza would start to feel afraid of all these people changing. I think she would take after jadon, and start to hide as more people begin to act and talk like freaks. I'm not sure if anyone is capable of truely escaping his grasp in a full blue route, so eventually she wouldn't be able to fight the call to join his holy union but. She would try and stay herself as long as she can.
what if the high priest liked getting high and the entire church in arbela got turned into some drug store or something much to zaphkiels disappointment

Any thoughts on the High Priest's spear? Do you think he knows some cool tricks with it? Do you believe he always had it or was it a gift by Zaphkiel?
I think it's a repurposed piece of fishing equipment!
He does know tricks from his days in the fishery, but doesn't do them anymore as they're unnecessary. He doesn't get to touch his spear much at all these days.
I think he's looking for reasons to skewer people these days. the blue route just provides the means with the shift in the populations consciousness (how much of those desires are zaphkiel's vs his own is unclear now.)

Au where Lugosi and Abram are swapped, Lu is nearly killed by his version of Zaphkiel (high priest), and manages to find a single survivor of the event. Abram is his gay little knight.
I got an ask about HPs spear. which is why ive been thinking about it. (havent posted bc i want to draw a drawing but just know im thinking about that asshole)
thinking about the lugosi HP parallels again. I really like the idea that a couplw decades ago high priest would never skewer someone through with a spear and his mind has been so poisoned with "divine" energy and thoughts that belong to someone so vindictive hes now looking for the opportunity/the signal to make an example of dissenters.
Meanwhile lugosi's connection isnt as purposeful, and thus his preaching comes from a desire to save rather than control. His attack on the church isn't such a spectacle. Its the breaking point, the zenith of his mind buckling under things he was never meant to bear. but if he hadnt been corrupted, I doubt he wouldve slaughtered a dozen church go-ers. oooogh. theres something here do you feel it
Corruption is about a lot more than black tentacles and red eyes. There are all sorts of things at work all at once, and no one is safe. Not even those you least expect.
im working on something Else now, which involves this same design for the credits(money) and i got reminded since i had to look at this for reference. check it out. mr capitalism aka the cigarette company

It's interesting that Noah's hair after Malachi had become Corrupted is more messy and fluffy. He bears a vague resemblance to Jadon in that way— bolstered by his pink jacket.
Aliza's expression also seems rather serene. Dreamy/sleepy, reminiscent of Malachi.
I also find it interesting, even if it wasn't intended, that Francis parallels Roland in the manner in how he burns. Both maintain their head shape rather than it getting blown off, but how Roland burns makes him look like a lit match, flames rising from his head and eyes, while Francis' hair remains unaffected but with it being as long as it is and having become black, it brings to mind soot or ashes blanketing him.
A match burning at both ends and someone running on the fumes of a dead flame. A passion on indignant overdrive and a passion stilled.

YES YES YES!!! these are all intentional choices of mine. Noah and Aliza, in particular, do mirror the guardian native to their origin zones. this parallel reminds me of the lugosi/HP parallel I've shared before.
Anyway, I'm glad you noticed! Aliza and Noah are kind of supposed to be different takes on what malachi and jadon could be like if that makes sense!
Noah is very charming and stylish, a little vain. one might expect an entertainer to behave that way.
Aliza is very plan oriented, firmly grounded in reality, and very considerate of all factors at play, like any good caretaker should be. She is nothing if not patient. Even when things are hard, and she is tired.
they're acting as the things that the guardians are missing deeply about each other. But its important to remember, they aren't important people. they're just normal citizens who have happened to fall into more than they can handle.
Francis is supposed to be a direct parallel to roland in his burnt appearance (his hair also gets much longer as he burns) But, he is also succumbing to the intense amount of corruption in the prison district (his red scary eye aaah!!)
He's also subtly influenced by the ideas at play with the industry district, (because. IMO roland shares some traits with adam similar to how aliza and malachi do. Despite his actual resemblance to gaius) But moreso he's kind of meant to reflect the ciry of Arbela itself. slowly being eaten up and destroyed.
His burnt form to me always looked like a burnt out candle. Usually his hair would go over his shoulders and obscure his white work clothes, like the wax melting away to blackened wick. I like fran a lot! But his actual role in the story needs work I feel, I've played toys with him too much and need to re-center him...
