i’ve received a few questions about my game—specifically, how i get it to look and run the way it does. so, here is an up-to-date guide on the resources and tools i use to ensure my game runs smoothly and looks great.

Hey everyone, here's another spicy experimental thingy from me. Emphasis: experimental. Please back up your saves! I haven't found any issues, but you should err on the safe side!

I'm resisting the urge to write this description as a winding story about why this thing exists and how so here's as quick a rundown as I can manage:

This is an ASI mod (like Smooth Patch or Settings Setter) that goes into your Bin folder and does its thing at runtime.

Depending on your setup, it might significantly speed up loading times from game launch to in-world. In one of my saves, it went down from over 18 minutes down to between 3 and 4.

It should also reduce memory usage (specifically, the 'virtual address space'--the real reason for Error 12 and memory-related crashes). How much depends on your setup, but it could be up to several hundred MB.

In-game stutters and especially multi-minute freezes (if you experience those) should be shorter and fewer overall. Not gone, but much more playable.

This mainly works on retail and Steam versions of the game. Many of the patches won't activate on EA App version. You can still use it, and might still reap some benefits, but the strongest patches aren't supported yet. It's in the pipeline, though, so stay tuned.

You need an ASI loader for the mod to load (like the wininet.dll from Ultimate ASI loader). If you use any other ASI mod, like Smooth Patch or Settings Setter, you likely already have it.

Hello, everyone! It has been quite a while. There has been some bewilderment surrounding not only the project’s release of Moonlight Bay, but also the future of what this blog holds. This post has been made in an attempt to disarm much of the turmoil attached to this project’s leadership.

The recreation of Moonlight Bay for The Sims 3 on PC has finished; it was quietly released on July 1st, 2026 by the original world creator, @itstotallytw1ggy. This release is the same as the world seen in various promotional posts on social media accounts attached to this project’s (former) name. The world creator at the helm of the project obtained consent from those who actively worked on the recreation, which likewise includes all lot and Sim creators – their names are appropriately credited on the world’s release post. Those who did not work on the world’s final release are therefore not credited.

Of course, such an unconventional release begets the question, “Why?”

The answer lies in the project’s tumultuous leadership and the abundance of controversy surrounding its self-appointed ‘leader,’ as well as his contentious behavior toward staff members. He is also the ‘co-owner’ of the project-smc blog, albeit he was only granted admin powers in recent times. This statement has therefore been drafted by the original owner of this blog.

The original team has voluntarily left the project, reflecting clear desires to not be affiliated with his name; following mutual disbandment, there were disjointed plans by the project leader to release his own version of Moonlight Bay on this blog sans proper credits, whilst also utilizing the work of @itstotallytw1ggy, @antoninko, @rockobillypunk, and others listed on the world’s credits. Uncredited versions of Moonlight Bay’s lots and assets were subsequently uploaded onto The Exchange by the ‘leader’ in a most impetuous manner, who has abstained from removing them because “The Exchange is glitchy,” despite evidence to the contrary.

There are no plans by the original team to release any future projects under this name. As previously stated, the completed release of Moonlight Bay can be found here:

Sims 3 is critically lacking in rings, especially for men, so here are a few i converted as well as some other wedding goodies. All of these have custom thums, multiple presets and are lowish poly, the highest being the boutonniere at 3k. The boutonniere is recolorable and I made it compatible with hat sliders so it can be moved to fit different meshes! After more than four months, Mursilka (The Molina) is back with a new world! This world has a similar aesthetic to Lucky Lakes released earlier this year, yet it's much larger with far more diverse districts, spanning from high-rise apartments and slummy areas to an Asian town and coastal marinas. In addition, it features multiple dive lots (all imported from Isla Paradiso) & hidden islands. Mursilka (The Molina) also personally wrote an incredibly thorough world overview detailing the world's headcanon (like the town's name, Sonny's, actually comes from a corrupt local businessman named Sonny), the building process of each district, and known bugs. It's written in extreme detail. Though it's in Russian, that's not a big deal these days, just copy it into any translator. While I'm not into the terrain paint colors, this is undeniably a highly detailed custom world perfect for long-term gameplay.
