I'm confused. Why are you mad at Derek?
Do you know how much it hurts to be in love with someone who doesn't care about you? I really don't appreciate someone pretending they care when they obviously don't.

You miss Derek don't you?
No.
Yes.Â
And I wonder if I ever cross your mind...

Danny smiled back at her as she linked her arm with his. As he lead her back up to his room, Danny blocked out any possible hecklers, and focused on Casey. “Here we are,” He said, stoppin at his room and opening the door.
Casey walked into Danny’s room when he opened the door, laughing a little to herself when she thought about how she left her car in the parking lot, and the assumptions people were going to make if they saw it. “I’m sorry if I’m dragging you into any stupid gossip or anything right now,” she told him.
“It’s fine,” Danny said, walking into the room and heading over to a corner. “We’re just having drinks right? Let the boys talk.” Danny pulled out a rather small selection of drinks, and turned back to Casey. “Pick your poison. Unless you brought your own, which would probably be better than this selection.”
“It might not just be Hanover talking, though,” she said, biting down on her lower lip. “Derek has apparently decided you and I are dating or something. Because it’s completely his business.”  Casey rolled her eyes as she walked over to him and held out her bag.  ”I made the completely irresponsible decision to drive over here with some in my bag. Pretty much the same thing you’ve got, though. Guess you can’t be picky when you’re underage,” she said, laughing a little.
“Derek?” Danny asked, more mimicking her than anything. He’s what this all is about…. It made sense, Danny thought, putting everything together. “Sorry,” He said, snapping out of his thoughts and placing the drinks down on a desk. “We can deal with that if he decides to say anything. But for now, we make the irresponsible decision to drink.” He grinned as he stole the words she had used.
Casey winced as she realized that she hadn’t mentioned Derek by name before now.  ”Uh, yeah. Derek…” she trailed off, then grinned at his words.  ”I don’t care what he says, anyway. He’s an ass. And right now, I don’t care how irresponsible it is, I need a drink.”  She shot him a grin.
“Then let’s drink.” Danny said as he opened up one of the bottles that sat on the desk, and began to pour the alcohol into two cups.
Casey laughed as she picked up one of the cups when Danny finished pouring. Â She took a drink, wincing a little as the alcohol hit her throat. Â "Just so you know, I'm not an alcoholic," she told him. "I just really hate people."

Sneaking into Hanover was completely out of Casey’s element.  She never had any reason to be in any house at Dalton other than Stuart, and now that she did, she had no idea what she was doing.  For a moment she contemplated just knocking on the door, before nixing that idea quickly.  In the end, she grabbed her phone and shot Danny a quick text letting him know she was outside, then crossed her arms against the chilly night air as she waited.
Reading Casey’s text, Danny left his room and hurried down the hallway of Hanover, ignoring the calls from the other boys as he made his way to the front door. When he had received the first text from Casey, never did Danny imagine it would end with him sneaking her into the dorms. Opening the front door, Danny saw her standing there and quickly invited her in. “Hey, come in,” He said, holding the door open.
Casey raised an eyebrow as she stepped through the door.  ”This is definitely different than sneaking in through a window or something,” she told him laughing.  ”Thanks for hanging out with me tonight, by the way.”  She just really didn’t feel like being by herself after the conversation she had though texts with Derek earlier.
“It’s not too late to turn back, you know.” Danny said laughing.  ”I think there’s a tree just to the right.” He let a smile grow on his face. She made it sound like hanging out with her was a burden though it wasn’t, ”It’s really not a problem,” He told her, and to be honest, Danny quite enjoyed being around Casey. “Though I must warn you, some of the boys are still awake upstairs, so consider this an apology in advance.”
Casey grinned at him and leaned against the door frame.  ”I’m okay,” she answered. “Climbing trees has never really been great fun for me.”  She raised an eyebrow when Danny apologized about the other boys.  ”I’ve not spent much time around anyone other than you from this house,” she said, “so your apology kind of worries me a little, I won’t even lie…”
“Oh no,” Danny said, backpeddeling. “I didn’t mean to scare you or anything, there really isn’t reason to worry. It’s not like we’re in Windsor. I just don’t know how they’ll react.” He tried to seem less ominous, it was just he really didn’t know how some of the boys would react to him having a girl over. “If anything, they’ll just bother me… It’s not like I have girls over often.”Â
"Relax," Casey told him, smirking. Â "I was just kidding." Â She linked her arm through his as she shot him a grin. Â "Come on, then. Let's go shock your housemates. It'll be good fun." Â

Text to Danny
Casey: How much would you judge me if I asked you if you wanted to go out with me or something tonight? I think I need a drink. :P
Danny: I don't think I would. And yeah, I'd be honoured to grab a drink and find out how you end up as that girl I met at the coffee shop :P
Casey: I'm likely to talk your ear off. Just saying haha.
Danny: Where were you thinking we meet up? You can come over to Hanover if you want.
Casey: Can't say I really had a plan beyond I needed a drink, haha. Hanover sounds good though. I can be over there in a few?

Late Nights || Casey & Danny
Danny thought about Casey’s question for a moment before nodding his head. “Yes,” he  told her, making eye contact with her.Â
Casey nodded.  ”Is it bad that I don’t feel bad about lying to him?” she asked hesitantly.Â
Again, Danny had to think about it for a moment, relating everything back to his own problems. “No, I think so…” He said, still trying to work it all out in his mind. “I mean, obviously there is a whole list of reasons why lying is wrong, but I don’t see how this can be overly bad.”Â
Casey nodded again, breaking off another piece of her pastry as she thought about what Danny had said. Â She wasn't really sure what to say to that.
